You were up at the peek of light.

Your father's breakfast was made and you were all set for the market today.

Well, it seemed like everyday was the same for you and the only way to past time was to read another book from the library in town. You thought to yourself why not pick up another story?
No one else goes in it seems.

You fixed your long (h/c) hair into a bun as you grabbed a basket. "Have a nice breakfast dad." You whispered as you crept out the door.

Carefully and quietly you closed the door and headed out for the town.

----------

In the town people were...kind?
They would talk about you because you were different. Different from the woman in that case. Some women were welcoming to you, but others would snicker and gossip.

Women here didn't always have a say. They would let a man brain wash them before thinking for themselves, or they would put out first chance. Women here are here to serve barbaric, uncivil, overbearing men. Like Gaston.

You liked being in books and dreamed of far away places. Anything to escape what this town had to offer.

Anyway, you strolled through the market picking up things for dinner and doing errands.

"Here you go (y/n). Anything else today?" The farmer asked.

"No that'll be all Jacob. Say hello to your wife for me." You waved goodbye.

"Well do (y/n)!" He shouted.

You walked with pep saying a friendly hello to everyone.

-----------

"Oh look it's the inventor's daughter (y/n)." A woman rolled her eyes.
"Oh her again." Another woman spoke like she was annoyed by the sight of you.

"What's wrong with her she's so peculiar." The first woman replied.

"She has a face of a Angel but personality of a librarian." The women giggled.

"I'll say she needs a man to take care of besides that looney father of hers. I'll tell ya if she doesn't find a man soon she'll be as nuts as the inventor." They giggled rudely.

"Shh-Hush here she comes." The first woman warned.
"Bonjour." You spoke gracefully.

"Oh Bonjour (y/n)." The fakely greeted.
"Where are you off to?" The first women spoke.
"Well, I picked up a few things for home. Now, I'm going to the library."

"The library?" The second woman spat.
"What for?"
"Well to read of course. You have to pick up a book or two when you have ti-." The first woman cut you off.

"That's swell (y/n) but, we have chorse to do."

"Oh." You felt a bit embarrassed that maybe you were ranting. "Well, good luck with that ladies."You nodded as you walked away. They waved and smiled falsely.

"See strange girl." The second woman mumbled.
"You would think she'd pick up a book about a man." You chosed to ignore their behavior as you always do.

It's not that you thought you we're better than them. It was simply a waist of time to argue with women who don't think.

You countined to walk to the library and made it at last.
"Bonjour?" You poked an eye through the door. An middle aged man walked from behind the bookcase with a smile. You and him were close. However, you only knew him as God.... Of the library.

"Bonjour Mademoiselle (y/l/n)." He welcomed you in the shop. Walking in was like being a kid in a candy store. All the books you've spent hours on all on the shelf just begging to be cracked open. Although, you've read them all more than twice.

You let yourself in and hopped on your favorite shelf. The Adventure category.

"Got anything new?" You searched like a hound dog for "The Book."

He chuckled. "Not since the other day love. You take all the new ones before even I get to them."

You climb the ladder to reach your favorite book. The Knight in Shining Armor. "That's ok because I'll be taking this one."
You hopped down the ladder and showed him the book.

"You've read this book so many times." He smiled bashfully.

"I know but it's my favorite." You hugged the book tightly. "Well, it's yours then. You're the reason why I stay employed (y/n)." He smiled.

"But I-." You started to speak.

"No I insets." He patted your back.

"Thank you." You hugged.

At first he was in shock but settled down to hug back. "Well, I'm off to read." You waved.
"Don't get to stuck in the pages." He followed.

"That's the point of reading." You winked.

You left out already began opening the book. There was a nice shady tree in a meadow where you loved to read to the animals that crossed by. They seemed to be the only true friends you had.

They listened and sat around you like children almost. Nevertheless, you enjoyed the company.

----------------

A shot of a gun went off and sending a bird spiraling from the air right to the ground.

"Wow Gaston. Another goose today!" He motivatedly spoke. "You are going to set a record."

"I know." He narcissisticly answered.

"No other guy can be you Gaston. No one can get things done like you can."
He continued to rant as he put the bird in to his bag.

"I am amazingly incredible aren't I?" He chuckled.

"Sure are buddy I mean gosh Gaston no one can say no to you and no girl for that matter." Gaston lifted the bag and threw his weapon and bag at Lefou, making him fall to the ground.

Gaston was a vain man. Tall, build like a bear, and devilishly handsome. However his personality is dark. Couldn't think of others, thought he owned everyone and everything. The people here seemed to enjoy it but, not you. You wouldn't let him anywhere near.

"I know Maurice and that's why I have my heart set out on (y/n)." He bloated.

"But, Gaston she's-."

"The woman of my dreams." He day dreamed.
"No, well, I suppose but she's-." He wrapped his chizzled arm around Maurice.

"The most beautiful woman alive." He added.

"Yes, but-." He continued.

"The best." He locked on Maurice's shirt. "And don't I deserve the best?"

"Yes!" Gaston picked him up by his shirt.

"Where is my love anyway?" He dropped him.

"You know." He rubbed his head.
"I saw her by the library again there's no doubt she's in the field." He sighed.

"Well, we leave for my wife at once." He grabbed his bag and marched his way through the towns people leaving  LeFou to run after him.

You read on with the story already near chapter five where the Knight starts falling for the princess. You adored the Knight. He was a prince in hiding and travel a long way for someone he barely knew. But, he knew it was love at first sight.

You wished someone could take you away. You want more than this town, you wanted Adventure.
But, mostly you wanted someone who can understand what it's like to be you.
