"Hey! Haru! We're all going out to dinner with Rin to celebrate his late return! You want to come?" Haru listened intently as Mako talked to him.

"I don't know." Haru just wanted to have some mackerel and take a bath.

"You can have mackerel if you come." That one sentence changed Haru's mind immediately.

"Alright." Haru agreed directly after Mako finished his sentence

Mako laughed at his friend and motioned the shorter of the two to follow him as he walked toward the door of the school, to meet up with the group.

Haru followed obediently behind the brunette.

Soon enough the pair met with the other friends.

Nagisa was jumping all over Mako asking him for his answer on something he and Rei were fighting about.

Gou was playing one her phone, probably texting Rin.

And Rei was trying to talk over Nagisa in an attempt to win over Mako's attention.

Haru sighed and stood behind everyone watching boredly and drank some water.

He thought about how much more fun this will be when Rin gets here.

He thought about his dark red hair, that fell in all the right places.
And his sharp shark-like teeth.
And how much he missed his smile.
He thought about Rin's habit of snapping his goggles before a race.
And how much fun it was to swim with Rin.
Although he does miss the old smiling and happy Rin, any Rin will do for Haru.

"Hey! Can you idiots stop your arguing and go eat?" The annoyed voice of Rin awoke Haru from his thoughts and he watched as Rin turned and began walking down the street.

Haru jogged up to Rin and slowed his pace to a more comfortable one, matching Rin's and walked beside his bestfriend.

Rin had his hands folded behind his head and his elbows facing the sky as he walked nonchalantly.

Mako and the other three followed the pair confused by Haru's efforts to walk by Rin.

Haru sat at the table, next to Rin and across from Mako.

Gou sat on the other side of Rin, while Rei and Nagisa sat by Mako.

"Hello, can I get you guys anything to drink?" A bubbly waitress bopped over to the table and started to jot down their drink orders on her small notepad.

These are the moments where Haru's inner anxiety levels sky rocket.

He wasn't a nervous person, but when everyone goes around the table quickly saying random drinks and it comes to Haru he panics.

Mako looked expectantly at Haru who mentally fumbled with his words, trying to order what he wanted.

"Sweetened iced tea for him and I'll have a coke." Rin's helpful voice rang through the air and Haru reminded himself to thank him later for saving him.

He remembered after all these years.
Wow.

"Is Pepsi okay?" The waitress seemed distressed that she had to ask that.

"Yeah I guess." Rin shrugged and began flipping through the menu.

The orders continued around the table and Haru leaned towards Rin and whispered in his ear.

"Thanks." Then he faced the table and looked through the menu as well.

"You're welcome." Rin seemed satisfied that he could help Haru.
