{[AN:]} Sorry guys! This chapter is super short. But there isn't much that we had planned to put in it. I thought I'd update again because it was a short one and we need more readers :) Enjoy! Don't forget to vote, comment, share, and fan! Love you all. -Ashley

I blinked my “Liam, we’re here.” Niall shook my shoulder gently before he opened his own door and stepped out. eyes and ran my hands slightly through my hair, shaking the sleep from my body. Climbing out of the car I stumbled towards the flat, struggling to get inside, Niall met me at the door. “Hey, don’t do anything rash okay. Just go to bed.” His eyes held a trace of sympathy but that was all. Nodding my agreement I stumbled into my room and fell face down onto my bed, not even bothering to change out of my sweaty clothes; my eyes closed and I passed into dreamland.

The smell of wildflowers was almost overwhelming, a soft giggle whispered against my ear. Smiling softly I opened my eyes, knowing it was her before I even saw her. Cora sat beside me grinning down at me like she had just won the lottery, but really I was the one who had won. “Where am I at?” I looked around slightly noting the grass hill that we sat on, and the huge tree behind our backs.

“You’re dreaming Liam, you aren’t really here.” Her smile turned sad as she studied me.

“God damnit, of course this isn’t real.” I pinched the bridge of my nose, whoever was messing with me needed to cut it out; I couldn’t put up with this anymore. I turned to study her glowing figure; everything was beautiful about her; just how I remembered her. “Why am I here Cor? Why do I still keep seeing you? Why can’t I move on?”

She gazed at me, her eyes full of sorrow and regret. At this point I had no idea what she was going to say to me. “Liam, you need to let me go. I can’t tell you how proud I am baby, I am so happy that you went through with the X- Factor for me. You made it big, you have four of the most amazing guys as brothers, and you have got to stop pushing them away! They only want to help you through this. Liam please, I am begging you, Let me go and move on with your life. I know you don’t want to hear this… but it’s a must; I’m dead Liam, gone, and I’m not coming back. You’ve got to go on living, don’t let that fire burn out.” She took a shaky breath before she began again. “Haven’t you heard the saying, ‘If you love something, set it free?’ That’s exactly what you need to do. Believe it or not, there’s another girl out there that is absolutely perfect for you; better than me even.” She smiled wryly before taking my hand in hers. “This is the last time you’ll see me. We’ve had our time together; and I’ll always be watching over you.” A lone tear rolled down her cheek and I wiped it away with the pad of my thumb.

Nodding my head I swallowed hard, pushing down the tears that were threatening to choke me. “I’ll try, for you I swear; I’ll try.”

“No Liam,” She shook her head. “For you, you’ll try for you, and your future.” She poked my chest hard. Anger flashing in her eyes for a short moment, leaning forward she pecked my cheek lightly. Closing my eyes I felt her soft breath against my ear, “Let go.” She whispered. Her hand disappeared from my cheek and I felt her presence melt away.

My eyes snapped open and I was in the dark of my room once more. Sitting  up I realized that weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I know it sounded silly but I suddenly realized that I really did need to let this go. A gentle smile covered my lips, I don’t know who was behind all this but I suddenly felt like I could go on living again. They had made life a possibility again, and for that I was forever grateful.
