××××× Seth's POV ×××××

"Guys, why are you acting like a pair of wrestlers giving everyone the death eye?" Cora asked confused as the three of us walk to our homeroom.

"No were not." Tim lied. He and I totally decided to keep a close eye on Cora after the call from her mom last night telling us about Baron Law's surprise visit that made her cry.

That jerk dare make our Cora cry. Well, we did make him pay for it. But he might still want to try his tricks on her again so we need to be careful. I don't care if his captain, if ever tries to lay a hand on Cora again, Tim and I will make sure that he won't be able to move anymore.

"Yes you are."

"Nope"

"Hey, Seth. Are you provoking them? Stop that." Cora told me when she realized that I was eyeing JC's group of Goths. I gave them a last glare then smiled at Cora.

"Sorry, Cora. I just can't help it. They were looking our way like a bunch of hyenas." I reasoned. There are so many enemies around so I just can't stay put. Cora's safety is my priority. She's like a sister to us. She may look tough but I know she's still a girl inside. She protected us when we were weak little kids so now it's our turn to protect her.

I used to be a really fat boy back in elementary and because of that bullies love targeting me. Cora had always been there to stand up for me and Tim, even when she gets hurt for doing so. We were all in seventh grade when Cora gave Pam a knockout punch to get back for bullying us.

It wasn't worth it because Cora almost got expelled and she had to do cleaning duty for the rest of the year.

That's when Tim and I realized how pathetic we were. We are two boys protected by a girl, I felt so useless then, that's why I promised to get stronger. By the time we became teenagers, I got my perfect six pack abs from all the martial arts and basketball I've been doing.

"So why exactly are you two so tense today?" Cora asked confused.

"Well that's probably because they think you're in danger of being attacked by adoring men." Karen, one of the new kids, answered when we intersected with the twins in our home room.

Cora gave them a confused look and she stared from me to Tim.

"They heard about Ron's little visit last night so now they think the poor guy's going to pounce on you from nowhere." Kate, the giggly one among the twins continued.

"Boys... What did you do?" Cora's tone was warning and grim. We didn't answer and both smiled innocently. I was hoping it'll work but it didn't. Cora's ear began to turn red, the symptom of the upcoming scolding we will receive.

"They went to Baron's house all big and grumpy, and then gave him a black eye last night." The twins said in symmetry giving us the accusing look.

"What are you girls, his fans club or something?" Tim asked scowling at the twins.

"You did what?!" Cora exclaimed.

"Um... we heard he made you cry so..." I tried to explain but Cora was furious.

"Shut up! I don't want to talk to you two right now." She hissed as the teacher came in. I felt guilty now not because I punched Ron but because I made Cora angry. Cora swapped with Karen's chair on the back of the room. So now, Karen sits between me and Tim.

She scares the hell out of us two because it's as if she'll put a curse on us or something. Karen Thompson is cute and all but she's freaky. She dyed her blond hair pitch black and has clothes similar to what Avril Lavigne wears. She's the exact replica of Jade in Victorious.
