When Luke finally walked out, his face was red. "Luke I've never seen you so mad. You alright?" I asked. "Will be. When I get as far away from Calum as possible." We started walking. When we reached the end of the sidewalk, luke turned the corner and went left. "Luke, my house is the other way." I said. He looked at me. "I know, coll. But calum's probably gonna look for us there, so we're going somewhere he'll never look for us." He said with a smirk. "Smart, lukey, smart." I teased. "I know. Now shut the fuck up." Luke was glaring at me. I started laughing. He hated being called that. "I feel better, Now that we aren't with cal and his new secret girlfriend." I replied. "I know. He probably has way more that we still don't know about." Luke was laughing. We started walking. "Where are we going, luke?" I looked at him with curiosity. "You'll see." He replied with a grin. "Stop smirking, luke. It makes you look like a bitch." I started grinning too. "Like Calum?" We both started laughing. "You know, we're only making fun of him because we both hate him right now." Suddenly, I felt sad again. Luke wrapped his arms around me, and we just stood in the middle of the sidewalk, hugging. Suddenly my phone rang. I looked to see who it was. "It's cal. Should we answer?" I asked. "Nah. We're hiding remember?" I nodded my head and let it go to voicemail. When we walked five more steps, luke said "ok, we're here." I looked up. We were at the park. "Oh, our old clubhouse is here!" I was so excited all of a sudden. "I know. I thought you'd be happy." When we got to the tree, it was still there. We climbed up the ladder and stood up on the wooden boards. We all made our dads build it, and it had a door. Luke turned the knob and we stepped inside. I had to hunch down a little so I wouldn't hit the top. "Hey look, someone put curtains on the windows." We closed the door so if cal came, he wouldn't spot us in here. "We haven't been here in forever." I said. "I know. It looks smaller than I remember." "That's because you're a giraffe, lukey." I started teasing him again. "Stop teasing me." Luke was whining, causing me to laugh even more. We sat down, and started talking quietly so that if cal did come, he wouldn't hear us and would think we weren't here. "What time is it?" I asked. It was dark outside and I was beginning to feel tired. "It's 9:34." Luke answered back. I lay my head on his shoulder. When I did, he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer. "Are you cold?" He whispered in my ear. "Yeah." I didn't want this moment to end. "I think we should go to your house than. Cal probably never went there, but if he did, he might have left." "Yeah, let's go." I said. "Coll?! Luke?! Where are you guys?" I froze. It was a voice that sounded so familiar. I knew who it was right when I heard it. It was Calum. I tried holding my breath, afraid he would hear me. He started calling us again. I didn't know what to do, so I stayed crouched on the floor. Suddenly, I felt the tree House shake. Holy shit, he's climbing up, I thought. What am I gonna do?! I was freaking out without making a sound. "OK! That's it cal! We can't hide from you anymore!" Luke yelled, causing me to have no choice but stand up. He opened the door and said "get down." Calum climbed down, than luke went down and I followed after him. "Guys, I was so scared." Calum sounded relieved. When I got on the ground, he ran over and pulled me into a hug. I pushed him away. I was a little happy to see him, but I was still mad at him. "Calum, why didn't you tell us you were inviting some girl we don't even know, over to your house?!" I started yelling. "Colleen, I didn't know she was coming over!" He yelled back. I bit my lip and stared at the ground. "Oh." Was all that came out of Luke's mouth. "I feel really bad now." I mumbled. "Does this mean we're friends again?" Calum asked, looking at me. "Yeah." Luke and I said in unison. All three of us started walking back to Cal's house, when Mikey and ash ran up to us. "Why are you guys here? I thought you were at my house." Calum said. "We were, until we found out you left, and we got scared because we didn't know where you were." Mikey said while gasping for air. They shouldn't have run all the way here, I thought. "Well, everything is fine now." I replied with a smile. When Calum noticed I was smiling, he started smiling. I never really noticed before, but Calum has a really cute smile. I think my face started turning red because my cheeks felt like they were getting warmer. "Colleen, are you blushing?" Ash asked while teasing me and laughing. "No! I'm sweaty, ok?!" I started getting defensive. "Ok, ok." He was still laughing. We started walking back to calum's house. "Guys, why is it so wet outside?!" Michael started whining.
