Don't Walk Away

When we got back to calum's house, we decided that we should order pizza and have a movie marathon with tons of candy and soda. Michael called the pizza place and ordered two large cheese pizzas. After, we tried figuring out what we were going to watch. I checked the time and realized that it was 6. "Guys, how long is the marathon going to be?" I asked, worried I might be late. "I don't know. Why? Do you need to be at the ball, Cinderella?" Ashton joked. "Seriously ash? No, I just-" I hesitated. "I have to meet the person who's going to sell me the house." I lowered my voice, hoping they didn't hear. "Oh." Came quietly out of Luke's mouth. "Well, um, it's OK. Do you know the exact time you have to be there?" Ash asked cheerfully, wanting to lighten the mood and make all of us feel better."But aren't you moving out of Australia?" Mikey asked, completely ignoring Ashton. Ashton looked hurt. "Yeah, but he's meeting me to show me some pictures of the house, discuss sale prices, and hopefully pick a day for me to move in to the house." I said, obviously feeling frustrated and starting to get annoyed. I didn't really want to talk about it right now. Michael just looked at Luke and smirked."You know what? It's fine, I think I'll just leave anyway." I said, pulling a face at him. I couldn't tell if he was trying to muffle a laugh or snicker at me. I just turned away and ignored it. "No. No, no, no. Colleen, please? I don't want any of us to fight anymore." Calum said, looking upset. It just broke my heart to see that."Seriously Colleen, please don't walk away." Mikey said with a tone of regret in his voice. He looked at the floor. "OK." I started smiling and hugged them. I put my stuff down and sat next to Calum on the couch. I started typing in the number of the guy I was supposed to meet." What are you doing?" Calum whispered in my ear." I'm calling him to ask if I could meet him tomorrow." I said out loud. Michael and ashton shushed me, not caring what I was doing and really watching the movie. I got up and walked into the kitchen. The phone was ringing, while I was waiting for the man to pick it up and reply back. Calum walked in after me. He stood really close to me, trying to listen."Hello?" I said into the phone. "Um, yeah. I was wondering if I could meet with you tomorrow? I'm kind of in the middle of something right now and the timing is really bad for me." I said, trying to push calum away. "Ok, thank you so much. Bye" I said smiling, even though I knew he couldn't see me. I hit the end call button. Calum still wouldn't back away."Calum, move." I said, trying to sound tough. He just smiled and started laughing. Finally the doorbell rang and I took it as my distraction to get away from the situation. I walked to the door and opened it. A tall guy with dark brown hair was standing in front of me. He looked about nineteen. He smiled at me, obviously laughing because of my facial expression."Hey.I'm jack." He said, pretty laid back about it. "I'm Colleen." I smiled back. "Uh, I have your pizzas." He said. He started looking unsure of himself. I soon realized why. Of course the moment seemed perfect, until calum walked up behind me and ruined it. He smirked at the guy, and said "Hey! Thanks for the pizzas dude. My girlfriend and I were just about to call and cancel." He said, smirking. Aww! Calum was jealous! I thought to myself. I decided to start messing with him. "Uh, calum, your girlfriend is waiting for you." I smirked at him. His face dropped. I turned to jack and saw that he looked confused. "Thank you so much for the pizzas." I said with a grin on my face. "I think I'll order some more." I was trying not to laugh. I gave him the money and closed the door. I decided to keep teasing him. "You know, that guy was really nice. I think next time I'll ask for his number and ask him out on a date." I started giggling when I was out of calum's earshot. After calum and I walked back in, I just remembered the girl that was here earlier. "Hey, what happened to that girl?" I asked. "Oh her? I kicked her out cause I didn't want my best female friend to get jealous." Now it was his turn to tease me. For a moment I stood there looking stunned, than I brushed it off and went back to watch the movie.
