"OK, let's go from the beginning." Luke said. "Why? I think it sounds great." Michael said with a confident smile. "No! I mean, no its not good enough." Luke shot a glare at Mikey, than he looked like he instantly regretted it. "I agree with luke. I think, if we wanna get a record label or become famous, we need to practice way more." Ashton said, trying to sound supportive. "Ok, fine." Michael said with irritation in his voice. I looked at calum, realizing he hasn't said a single word. He just looked at me and shrugged. What's up with him? I thought to myself. After they were done practicing, I went up to him. "Is anything wrong?" I asked. "No. No, of course not. Everything's fine." He replied, trying not to look at me. "Calum." I said softly. He finally looked at me and stopped fidgeting with the amp. "What is it, coll?" He asked in the same quiet voice, stepping closer to me. Half of me was expecting something to happen between us, but the other half of me was thinking that this was a moment in a dream, something that wasn't real. "Its just, ever since earlier, you know, on the roller coaster, you haven't seemed like yourself." I said, looking at my shoes. He smiled, causing me to stop breathing. When I realized I had been holding my breath, I let it out slowly and quietly, hoping he wouldn't hear. "Ok?" He asked in a questioning voice. Of course, the whole time while I was thinking of his cute smile, he was talking and I didn't hear a single word he said. "Wh- what?" I asked, stuttering. His face lit up. Don't get distracted, don't get distracted, I told myself. "Coll, have you even been listening to a single word I just said?" He asked. "Yes!" I said, starting to get defensive. He raised his eyebrows. I looked at the floor as my face broke into a smile of embarrassment. "Ok, no, I haven't. I'm sorry." I said apologetically. He let out a sigh I didn't even know he was holding. "No, its fine. I said that everything is alright and I'm great, so don't worry, ok?" He said while looking at me. He probably wasn't, but it felt like he was looking at my lips. My face started turning red.

Calum

I didn't say anything, but after I told Colleen that everything was fine, I felt bad for lying to her. Nothing was fine. Especially not when she's dating that loser, jack. When I was talking, I couldn't help but look at her lips. I really wanted to kiss them. I never told michael, ashton, or luke, but I've had a crush on Colleen for at least a year.I just never said anything cause I didn't want to ruin the great friendship we had. I knew I couldn't keep pretending, though. I couldn't keep pretending that I didn't feel anything for her, because I did. Ugh, I hate that idiot she's with. I hate him more than anything, I thought to myself. We were outside, drinking sodas and talking, when a car pulled up. A girl stepped out, and I suddenly realized it was Jenn. She walked up to me and wrapped her arms around my neck. "Hey babe." She whispered in my ear. I think she was a little drunk because she was stumbling around. Another girl got out of the car. I'm guessing she was the one who drove, because she looked completely sober. I pushed Jenn's arms off of me and took a couple steps back. I looked at the guys and Colleen. They all looked confused except Colleen. She looked hurt. In that moment I just wanted to curl up and die. I felt awful. "What are you doing here?" I asked, probably sounding a little annoyed. Jenn smirked at me. "What? You don't want me here?" She said, trying to sound seductive but failing to do so. "Um, kind of, yeah. I really don't." I said, pretty pissed she just decided to show up out of nowhere when I was hanging with my friends. She rolled her eyes. "What? You'd rather be with her?!" She sneered, pointing at Colleen. My eyes widened in complete shock.

Colleen
"What? You'd rather be with her?!" Jenn yelled, glaring at me. I looked at calum and saw his eyes widen in surprise. Jenn started cussing while pointing at me and yelling at calum. I stood there, not knowing what to do. "She's a fucking bitch, calum!" Jenn yelled. Calum started getting mad. "Don't say that! Stop calling her that! She never did anything to you!" Calum yelled back. Before I knew it, jenn turned towards me, smirked,then grabbed calum, and pulled him towards her. I couldn't believe it. She was making out with him and he was trying to push her off. She was trying to make me jealous. I felt my face turn red and my eyes filled with tears. I turned around and pushed past Mikey and ashton to go inside. I heard someone yell my name, but I didn't turn around. When I got inside, I ran upstairs. When I walked into calums room, I felt a pair of strong arms pull me back. I turned around and saw that it was ashton.
