Houston's P.O.V.

I looked up at the popcorn ceiling of the hospital. So far Tularosa, New Mexico had proven to be boring and everyone was wary of me as if I was about to snap and go crazy right then and there. Of course that would not be the case. I am immune.

The doctor, whom I forgot her name came and changed my IV bag. I said nothing to her contently reading some boring book about a boy named Tom Sawyer and his idiot adventures. She soon left without a word and the door closed. I reached underneath the mattress and pulled out a phone calling the first number on the call back list.

"Hello?" An annoyed male voice answered. The sound of a typing keyboard could be heard in the background.

"Hey, Liam." I greeted the 19 year old technician.

"Houston? Where are you? We thought you were dead." Liam said his voice not showing the concern his words said. Almost like a robot speaking. Which made him then perfect technician.

"I'm in Tularosa, New Mexico. Where are you?" There was some more clicking in the background.

"We're about two and a half days from your location. Is there anyway for you to come to us?" Liam asked me continuous typing in the background.

"I dont think so. They have confined me to bed rest. I may have broken my leg." I said and waited for a response which seemed like it took eternity to to come.

"Alright, I'll send Red and Bones to your location but they won't be able to head out until tomorrow." Liam said casually.

I sighed with frustration. It would take forever to get some of my people here and out of this hell hole called women.

"I guess it'll have to do." I said and added, "Thanks Liam.". Liam didn't respond in fact he just hung up like that.

" Jolly fellow."I joked to myself and hid the phone again returning to the boring book.

Skye's P.O.V.

I walked around HQ lost in thought. I needed information but I wasn't sure how to get it. People were so private in this town. I walked to the library and closed the door behind me. There had to be information in here somewhere. All of a sudden a felt a damp funny smelling cloth pressed to my nose and I fell into the darkness called sleep.

~1 hour later ~

I groaned as pain coursed through my body. I blinked once then twice. Where was I?

"Well, well I was hoping you would never awaken." I heard the all to familiar prissy voice. I turned my head to see Nelson smirking at me and twirling a gun.

"What do you want Nelson?" I asked her spitting out blood. Blood. Why was my lip bleeding?

"Oh its not what I want, Burns." Nelson said wwith a smirk walking up to me and tilting my chin up with her index finger. She wore a pout and puppy dog eyes like a child begging for the ultimate toy.

"Its what Donavan wants." She smirked at my confused face.

"Oh dont you know? You're searching, Burns, you shouldn't be and I'm to make sure you learn the lesson." She said smirking.

Why would Donavan care? I didnt plan on leaving the town. I was sure whatever reason she had for keeping people in the dark was valid. Unless... I gasped as a fist connected to my jaw. I spat out blood and looked up at Nelson with defiance. The next hour Nelson beat me until I was bruised and bloody. I sure learned my lesson. Something waa fishy in this town.

Faye's P.O.V.

I followed the instructions perfectly. I looked up at the building and frowned. It was an old pet store. I pushed open the sliding doors and stepped inside. I could see the cages they used to put animals in to sell them as pets. Im not sure how they didnt consider it animal cruelty.

"You finally made it. I didn't think you had the guts." The girl called Viviane said walking with a slight swagger. "Welcome to the Rebellion." She waved her hands to a group of kids sitting in a circle on the floor.

"Come sit with us." She said motioning to sit between herself and another girl with brown hair and dancing chocolate brown eyes. She was pretty but I worried she might have a mental illness.

"I'm Avery. Hi hi." She said rather excitedly taking a hold of my hand and continously shaking it so much I feared my hand would fall off.

"Um, Faye." I said wwiggling my hand out of hers.

"Why did you come?" She asked me her eyes continuously searching my face as if to see if I would lie or not.

"I came for answers." I said simply as if it was a normal routine. This was definitely not routine.

"We all came here for the same reason." A girl across from me with golden hair, bluebell blue eyes and freckled nose said.

"Names Maya." She introduced with a nod of her head.

"Faye." I said and she snickered.

"I know I heard you tell Avery your name."

"Alright let the meeting come to order." Vivaine said holding her hand up to quiet everyone. The girl had natural leadership abilities. She will be a good agent some day.

"Alright we are all here because we want to know the truth. Why are we stuck in this town? We are here for the amusement of the government." There were whispers across the room.

What was Viviane talking about? I thought tthe government was destroyed after the diseases? I was about to say something when another girl beat me to the punch.

"It is a scam to make us more comfortable in our imprisonment. We are no more then lab rats. Don't believe me watch this." She said opening a laptop. If only I had known what the laptop was going to show I might have rethought things if I planned on keeping my head. Viviane looked at all of us then pressed play.
