hey guys!
Wow, I haven't updated any of my stories in a while and I'm really sorry. I've literally been so busy and haven't had time. I know this isn't the best update, but I hope you like it(:
I will update my other stories soon. :) xxxI woke up to the unfortunate light gleaming through my window. I grunted annoyingly, as I reached over to the bedside table to retrieve my phone. I clicked the home button and smiled instantly as a picture of Finn and I from the other day flashed upon it. I saw a few texts from Finn.

Morning gorgeous :)
From - Finn is the best<3
Don’t forget our date today babe, I’ll be picking you up at 4:30. Wear something semi-formal, hope you had a good sleep pretty xx
Just simple text messages like this from him made me smile endlessly. I had already found myself being connected to Finn. It had only been one night without him since we first met, but I was already missing him. Missing his muscular arms wrapped around me, cuddling me to sleep. It was almost like I needed him.
I stopped myself from thinking to much, as I rose from my bed and down the stairs to grab something to eat. I checked the time on my phone, ’12:40’. Wow, I had slept in. But then again it was no big surprise. I grabbed the box of coco pops from in the cupboard and gently placed it on the bench. I then walked over to the fridge, opening it and retrieving the milk before shutting it and collecting a bowl from one of the draws. I did my daily routine of making the cereal before placing everything back away, sitting down and eating it whilst watching some cartoons on the TV that I payed hardly any attention to due to my never ending thoughts about Finn. Ever since the day that we first met I swear he was all I could think about, as cheesy and fictional as it thoughts. He was basically my first priority now. I had completely forgotten about everything else and he was my main focus. I had eventually finished my cereal, so I quickly rinsed my bowl before walking upstairs and practically collapsing onto my bed. I glanced at my phone to see it was now 1:30pm. I had spent a lot more time than I had thought just sitting down and contemplating everything and anything to do with, yep you guessed it, Finn Harries.
I switched into a panic mode as I realized I had 3 hours to get ready. Shit.
I started pacing around my room and breathing heavily. I swung open my wardrobe, when I saw the shopping bag containing the tiger dress i recently purchased. I sighed in relief, as I slipped my hand into the shopping bag retrieving the dress. I quickly got changed into it before walking into my bathroom. I applied the regular BB cream, and concealer before deciding on a smokey eye effect. I applied pale pink lip stick along with lip gloss. My nails were painted white which suited what I had on. I decided to leave my natural hair as it was before placing a flower crown around my head. I slipped on my bright yellow docs, as I placed all my make up, money and my phone into a pale blue hand bag. I then slipped on the final item - a pale pink blazer. (outfit in external link).
I looked at my phone, it was now 4:20pm. Just in time - I thought to myself. I quickly walked down the stairs, before collapsing on the couch nervously. The next 10 minutes were like hell. Each minute rode by slowly and torturously. My head was nearly going to explode.
He’s not even going to show.
He doesn’t even like you Zoe.
You’re a bitch. Nobody likes you.
Look at yourself Zoe, you look horrible. Why would anybody want you.
I felt myself tearing up just a bit and I practically jumped out of my seat when a knock at the door sounded through the entire once silent house.
I stood up from my seated position, fixing my hair slightly before grabbing my handbag and walking towards the door. I hesitantly opened the door to reveal a sexy, groomed looking Finn Harries. He was wearing maroon skinny jeans and a black button up, with navy vans. His hair was slightly gelled back.
I didn’t notice that I was staring until he cleared his throat.
“Oh, uh sorry Finn” I mumbled looking down as I stepped outside, locking the door behind me.
“Zoe, you look gorgeous” he smiled, before holding out his hand. I instantly without thought latched my fingers in his. They fit so effortlessly it was mind blowing.
He lead me into his car, opening the passenger door like a true gentleman. I smiled at this, as he quickly jogged around to his side of the car and hopped in. The engine roared to life and sooner than I knew it we were off.
We arrived at a beautiful looking restaurant I had never seen before. We walked with our fingers again interlocked into the restaurant. A small bell went off as we stepped foot inside annotating our presence.
“How can I help you?” a middle aged man grinned at the counter.
“Table for Harries” Finn smiled. The man nodded and lead us into a small private room towards the back. He let us in before walking off. I took a few minutes to take in my surroundings. It was breath taking.
There was a small table in the centre of the room with a gorgeous red lace table cloth. The two chairs on opposite sides were a pretty red colour. There was a pretty scented candle in the centre of the table lighting up the room a slight more and giving off a beautiful, fresh smell. There was a stunning chandelier hung in the centre of the ceiling, lighting the room. Pale pink fairy lights lined the walls, they were amazing. Last but not least there were scattered rose petals on the floor.
“Finn...” I breathed. “It’s b-beautiful” I stuttered, blinking a few times.
“Like you” he winked. “Cheesy” I winked back. He laughed lightly before pulling out my chair for me to sit. I smiled, appreciating his once again kind gesture. He then sat in his own seat. We both picked up the cute looking menu’s in front of us, and looked through all the various foods available.
Soon enough a pretty looking middle aged waitress walked into the room smiling.
“What would you guys like for tonight?” she smiled at us.
“I’ll have the lamb rump steak with chips and a creaming soda please, thank you” I smiled, handing over my menu.
“And I’ll have the chicken burger with chips and a coke please, thanks” Finn grinned, handing his menu over.
“No worries, the food will be here soon.” she smiled, walking away.
We talked and shared laughs for a good half an hour before our food and drinks arrived looking as tasty as ever. We immediately digged in, our hunger showing. The meal was absolutely delicious and I knew for a fact I would be coming back here again.
We had cookies and cream ice cream for dessert which again was no surprise, it was amazing.
“Zoe?” he asked, once we had finished our ice cream.
“Yeah Finn?” I smiled.
“Listen. I know it’s really soon and all. But I think you’re one of, if not the most amazing girl I’ve ever met. I’ve never felt so comfortable around anybody before. You’re so kind hearted, you’re beautiful, you get along with my friends, I could go on for a while about how much things I love about you. I respect your decision whatever it will be, but.. um.. Will you be my girlfriend Zoe?” he breathed out.
“Yes, Finn, yes” I breathed, not taking a second thought.
