I woke early to go back to my room so no one knew about that night. Bella came in like she always does. This time she carried no tray. "The family will be having breakfast downstairs today. It will start in minutes." I got out of bed and looked at myself in the mirror. I brushed my hair and looked at my white skin. I sprayed a little perfume on and left my room.
When I got down stairs my father shot up out of his chair. "How dare you lower your standards for a stable boy." I was shocked at his outburst. At the same time praying he wouldn't come over to me and backhand me to the floor. "Father believe me, I love Justin." His eyes grew dark with anger " Well not anymore. Say goodbye to your precious Justin. We are leaving tomorrow." I stormed up the cold stairs. I fell a couple times because of my dress. When i got to my room the window was thrown open. I was about to jump out when Bella walked in. "NO!" She shouted grabbing my hips pulling me away from the window. "I'm going to bring you food to take with you. It will only last a while though. Thats why you will take your jewelry to sale for money." I looked at her confused. "Well Lily if it is true love you must run off with him. You can't just give up like that." I turned and hugged her. "I love you too Bella. Thank you for being so kind to me for the past weeks. We will run away in the night."
My mother came to my room to help me pack. She would not say a word to me. I packed all of my jewelry into the box. I was going to take it with me in the night. I'm going to wear a simple dress tonight and bring two more simple dress with me. My heart was beating in my throat. I am going to run away with my love tonight. No looking back. I get the book of love poems off my bedside table and place it into my bag. I doubt george will know I took it. It means so much to me. This book taught me love is the best thing you could have in the whole world. Better than all the money and nice things I would ever have.
When everything was packed away into my bags. My mother turned to leave. Before she walked out I said one last thing to her. "Goodbye mother." I knew it would be the last thing I would ever say to her. When she left the room I laid down on my bed and started to cry. I would never see my parents again. I am giving up everything to follow my heart, and in my heart I feel this will be the best decision of my life.
