💫Philly: I know I ask too much, but do you want to Skype?

✨d.h✨: no no it's fine and yeah sure

"Hi Danny," Phil greeted cheerily, his face on the screen instantly making Dan smile.

"God I hate that name," Dan said truthfully, although he didn't completely mind when it was Phil saying it. For Dan, Phil made anything Dan hates okay, from annoying nicknames to school, the raven haired boy seemed to make everything alright.

Phil's face fell slightly and Dan instantly felt bad, "Oh, I can stop calling you that then."

"No, no. I hate it less when you're saying it," Dan rushed out.

"Wow, what a compliment," the older man laughed and Dan couldn't tell if Phil was being sarcastic or not.

"So how was your day Phil?" Dan attempting to make conversation, also attempting to ignore the strange feeling he got in his stomach when he saw Phil's smile. Dan wondered what that feeling meant.

"Boring," Phil answered bluntly, "This is by far my favorite part of my day. How was yours?"

"The same," Dan shrugged, "I really wish I could do something other than school, like I want to travel the world or something but I have to have some shitty standardized education. Like what am I going to do with trigonometry while I'm having the time of my life in Japan or something like that? You know?" Phil just nodded and Dan sighed, "Sorry for going into rant mode. I tend to get annoying when I do that."

Phil instantly went to counter Dan's statement, "No, you could never annoy me Dan, come on. I was just thinking about what you said. I think you're absolutely right and I would be happy to join you on your quest to Japan or anywhere really. Traveling the world with you sounds amazing, Dan."

Dan and Phil both laughed, happy to share each other's company, even if it's only through a computer screen.
