I yanked my twin up the hill. "Come on!" I yelled. "Only a few more yards!" We heard a growl in the distance. I cursed under my breath. Just then our 'protecter', as he called it, came running up the hill. "Go! Call for reinforcements in the camp!" He screamed. I nodded and continued dragging my twin up the hill.
When we reached the top, I looked down on the valley. A deep growl emmitted from right behind us. I whipped around. Standing right behind us was the biggest black dog I had ever seen. We slowly backed away. It walked twords us but soon was blocked by something, like an invisible barrier. All of a sudden the dog was gone. Melted into shadow. In his place stood a muscular boy. Black windswept hair, sea green eyes, and was pretty tall. He looked behind him quickly as another growl sounded. "Where is your protecter?" He asked. I pointed down the hill. He cursed in a language I didn't understand and ran down the hill. A girl snapped her fingers in front of my face. "Hey!"
"What?" I asked, annoyed. She had blonde hair, a thin frame, and swirling grey eyes.
"Let's get your brother to the infirmary to patch him up." she said. I nodded my head.
