A vampire boyfriend?!

Chapter 4

After the crash the house went totally silent, To be honest i would usually like the quiet, Now i'm not sure whats out there, Or whose trying to hurt me or save me. I really hope this is over soon so i can get back to school & friends.. I really don't get along with my parents and family.. But i'm beginning to miss them. I stood up slowly and walking to the door as quietly as possible and opened the door slowly. 

What i saw, I felt like screaming.. Abigael was gone. She's gone. She's dead. I opened my mouth to scream but someone covered my mouth before i could. I turned my head and what i saw was amazing. The most beautiful guy i've ever seen stood behind me.

"Are you Alexa?" He said uncovering my mouth slowly.

"I.. I uh.. Uh.. Oh. Yeah" I said nearly in shock. I felt foolish now but i could see he thought it was funny for some reason. He flashed me a small smile and let me go.

"Did you belong to her?" He asked with concern and sympathy.

"Yeah.. I.. No! I don't belong to anyone who are you?"

"I'm Dimitri, Calm down i'm only trying to help" The tone of his voice sounded a little angry but his face showed no sign of anger,happiness,sadness, Or really anything for that matter.

"Can i go home now?" I crossed my arms together shivering.

"You can't go home ever.." The look in his eyes told me he was sad for me "I'm sorry Alexa.."

"What... Why can't i go home?" Confusion flashed over my face and his face deepened into a soft frown.

"Alexa, No one knows you even exist" He frowned and looked away.

"Now what? Nobody knows i exist. I need to go home!"

"Alexa.. Please.."He said facing me again staring hard into my eyes.

"I don't.. I don't know what i'm gonna do now.. Where am i gonna go if nobody knows me? Why did he do this to me?" a small tear streaked down my cheek and he wiped it away slowly.

"Alexa.. You can stay with me, I promise your safe with me.." he said putting his arm on my shoulder  "He?"

"Elijah.. He kidnapped me.."

"I'm going to take you to my place, It's not safe here, Then you tell me everything," He said slowly putting his arms around my waist carefully. He gracefully ran through trees and streets and we stopped in front of huge gates that looked to be built in the 19th century. He led me through the gates and into the house.

It was huge, much bigger then what i saw of Elijah's house. The floor was plush, dark red velvet, Almost crimson, There was a huge staircase to my left and to the right, From what i saw looked like the living room. Dimitri walked towards the living room and i followed, Slowly studying each thing i passed.

"Sit" He said and pointed to a couch and sat down.

I sit and looked around the room slowly one last time and turned to him.

"Tell me what happened" He stared at me curiously.

"Well.. I was walking down the street and it was about 10pm..  i was going to my friends house and i heard a noise and saw shadows then he was there.. Behind me.. I started to run but he caught me and covered my mouth, He took me to his house and he bit me, He had to run errands and then Alexander.. He came to save me but.. um.. I think Elijah.. Killed him. Then Abigael came and asked a favor, He refused so she took me. and now this" I said practically reliving the part that she bit me.

"What does Elijah look like?"

"Well.. He was really tall.. He has blond hair and blue eyes.." i said remembering his arms around me.

He gave me a thoughtful look and stood up. "Alexa, You have to stay here, He will come after you and i don't know when, If your not here i can't protect you, But right now i need to leave for a little while, Will you be alright or do you need someone with you?"

I shook my head no and stood up and watched him walk away leaving me standing alone.
