Chapter 11

A knock came to the door and Dimitri was gone in a flash. I heard him open the door and i rushed down stairs quickly. Beside Dimitri stood Mikhail, And a girl was at the door. She had dark brown hair like Dimitri and they was talking but i couldn't here so i came a little closer.

"Kyra!" Dimitri said reaching out to who i guess was Kyra, While Mikhail stood back.

"Dimitri! So nice to see you, It's been too long" She gave him a hug. and stepped in closing the door.

"Whose this?" I asked now standing by Mikhail.

"Our sister, Kyra" He smirked.

 "Whose this?" Kyra asked pointing to me.

"That's Alexa" Dimitri said smiling.

"Hm. She's human?" Kyra turned her head to look at me better looking contently at my neck.

"No she's not dinner" Mikhail said standing in front of me.

"Oh, Mikhail back off i don't want her" She said rolling her eyes.

Dimitri eyed Mikhail and he moved quickly.

"Hey, Alexa" Kyra said coming closer to me.

Mikhail still stood near me with his hand on my shoulder eying Kyra cautiously now even more.

"Uh.. Hi" Her staring at my neck made me a little uncomfortable.

"So, Mikhail, Is this your little girl friend?" Kyra said smiling up at Mikhail sweetly.

"No she's Dimitri's" He said and smirked.

"Am not!" I said laughing.

"So Kyra, Why are you here?" Asked Mikhail.

"Oh just thought i'd come see Dimitri after all these years, I didn't expect you to me here"

"So your staying here?" Dimitri asked standing beside me.

"If that's alright"

"Oh well thats just great" Mikhail said sarcastically.

"Of course its okay" Dimitri smiled. "You can stay in the guestroom"

She walked up stairs with her suitcase Dimitri followed her leaving me and Mikhail alone for the first time other then when he said he loves me.

"She's nice" i said looking at Mikhail.

"Really." He smirked.

"Mikhail.. I've been wanting to talk to you.. About what you said in the bathroom about.. loving me."

"What about it?" He asked nervousl.

"How do you love me.. We just met"

"I.. your just beautiful.." He said looking into my eyes.

Kyra's POV:

"Thanks Dimi" I said as Dimitri showed me to the guest room.

"No problem sis" He hugged me and then left.

Nice room. I haven't been here in at least 5 years. And how did this human girl get here i wonder. I sat my bags down on the small table and put my clothes in the wardrobe yawning. A thought just came to my mind. Caroline. She's just like Caroline, Thats why he has her here.

"Kyra" Mikhail said leaning on the door frame.

"What?" I asked looking over from my suitcase.

"Why are you really here?"

"I had no where else to go.." I said sighing.

"Well don't even think about making dinner out of Alexa" He said eyeing me. Why he always supposed i'd make dinner out of everything, I don't know.

"God Mikhail, I'm not like that" I said giving him the evil eye.

"Sure" He smirked and walked out.

Ugh. Did he really have to be here to? When did he move in? Well this is gonna be fun. He's always had some kind of grudge on me, i guess, He's always treated everyone better then me and treated me like i was a crazy monster. I'm not the one that was trying to steal his brothers girl friend and going on massive killing sprees. How pathetic for him to blame it on me.

"Hi" I looked over and saw Alexa standing in the doorway.

"Hi" I said looking down at the ground.

"So i just wanted to welcome you in it's nice to meet you, Kyra" She said smiling.

"Why are you here anyways?" I asked her with seriousness.

"Long story" She said looking uncomfortable.

"I have time" I said sitting down on the bed and looking over at the spot beside me.

"Well.. It started when Elijah kidnapped me, Alexander came to save me and Elijah gave me to another vampire named Abigael, Then Dimitri well.. He got rid of her.. And he took me and said he was only trying to help me. I stayed with him and then Elijah came and didn't take me, he said he'd be back, and then Elijah came and he.. He hurt Dimitri so he could take me back, The next thing that happened Mikhail came looking for Dimitri and he was torturing Elijah for where to find him, We took him there and Elijah and Dimitri almost started a fight over me so Mikhail.. He.. Elijah's just gone now.. He's not alive.." A few tears was falling from her eyes, It's like Mikhail to fix things with death.

"Wow thats terrible.. thats just like something Mikhail would do"

"He did it for me. He.. He said he loves me" This didn't surprise me at all.

"Wow. It's like Caroline all over again" I said standing up.

"Why is everyone so in love with Caroline.." She said rolling her eyes.

"I have no idea" I said turning away.

"Well.. I'll leave you here" She said getting up and walking out of the room.

What she asked, I've wondered for so long. Caroline, Sure she was beautiful but they could have nearly any girl they wanted. And they chose her.

Mikhail's POV:

I couldn't believe it's happening again. I'm falling in love with her.. i'm falling in love with Alexa. I can't let this happen. Not again. I kept telling myself that and reminding myself that she was Dimitri's.. Regardless my heart went fluttering for her.

"Mikhail.." Alexa said from behind me. I turned sharply to look her in the eyes. They were beautiful.

"Alexa" I said smiling.

"Mikhail.. i think i might.. I might love you too.." She looked down and a few strands of hair fell in her face slowly.

"But Dimitri.. Your his" I said pushing away the hair out of her face.

"I'm not anybodies" She looked me straight in the eyes and a smile came to her face.

"You can't leave Dimitri, It would hurt him too much" i knew it would..

"I know but.. i just wanted to tell you that" She said and walked off.

"Wait" I said and she turned back

"I love you too Alexa" I said and kissed her forehead.
