Shackles, tethers
Leashes, chains

Nooses, dead weights
Anchors, same

Tethered to the master's hand
Lashes, lashes
Whips and bands
Scarring, tortured, withered hands

"Work my minions
Peons, slaves.
Give me your wheat,
Cotton, Gold, Pain"
The masters, treacherous, exclaimed.

"Break the earth
And raise my towers
Marble, Ivory, Gold, and Iron
Break your bones."
Bloody toil

"Till the soil
Slash and burn
Fell the trees,
Burn the Coal."

Dark, the skies
Mountains, low
Red, the rivers
Sun bleached bone.
Dead, the land.
Seeds we've sown.

The Masters:
Greed and Envy, Dreaded Pride
Cast them low
Thou shalt not hide.

Break the chain
Burn the tethers
Cut the whip
Shatter shackles

Shackles, Gold
Silver, Copper
All are bound
Tethered, shackled

Bound to Masters
All are we
Good and Bad
Dark and Light
Black and White
Day and Night

Shackled, Leashed
Tethered, Chained
Bound to masters
Masters, all the same.
