As June crept into my dimly lit household she was greeted by her mother. "1134! You're home so late! What happened?!" She looked down and then up at her brother, 1049, and he shrugged and walked away. He knew where she had been. He knew that she was going Rogue. June had asked him to come with her but he wouldn't betray the family. He was the one that almost made her want to stay apart of the family and not go Rogue. "I am sorry, mother" She whispered, looking down at her toes. "You must be home at curfew now, you know the Rogues and Draugr are around!" she said in a hushed voice, as if someone were listening.

June trudged up the stairs to her small bedroom and pulled the door closed behind her. She lay back on her blue bed and untied and flung off her shoes. "...mmmm... little baby... drink your spoiled milk... mmmm... crazy, need my prescription filled... mmmm... do you like my cookies... mmmm... they're made just for you... mmmm... little bit of sugar... mmmm... lots of poison too... mmmmm..." She muttered lyrics quietly, reading the book sitting on her bedside cabinet, humming the tune of the song to herself. "Why can't people make music like this now? And why am I one of the only people who know the song?" She sat up and walked across her room to the small, flat, blue metal phone touch pad and hovered one of her fingers over the flashing blue light. "Call 1145 and 1237, please phone"  A blue, slightly opaque, screen appeared just above the small pad, sitting on the dark oak desk, with the faces of her two friends. A dialing tone started soon after. June was going to tell 1145 and 1237 about going Rogue. Both of them have contemplated about going Rogue recently so hopefully they would join her. They knew their names. 1237 was named Millie and 1145 was Frankie.

"1134! June!" Millie shouted gleefully into the phone, her face glowing purple in the light of her screen.
"Junie! You look great!" Frankie smiled. "I haven't seen you in a while!"
"I have something really important to tell you guys and I hope you can forgive me," June said quietly. "I am joining the Rogues. You can both join me! They are all so smart! And kind! They have been so forgiving and I don't know why anyone is afraid of them!" Both Frankie and Millie sat in stunned silence for at least a minute. "Okay, I have something important to tell you both too," Millie blurted out, looking directly at the screen with a confused look on her face.
"I have something to say as well." Frankie said to nobody in particular.
"I will join the rogues with you, June. You are my best friend and I have been thinking about going Rogue for... I don't know how long now. Please, Frankie join us, it'll be okay!" Millie seemingly shouted. "That's what I was going to tell you, I am going to join the Rogues with you two!" Frankie giggled. All of the girls smiled and began talking about what they were going to do and how they would tell their parents.

When the call finished they all went and began packing. June decided that she would write a letter to her parents rather than tell them in person. She wrote a letter. Then she scrunched it up and started another. And another. And another. She wrote late into the night, until, she wrote the perfect letter. It contained the right amount of reasoning, reassurance, justification and a little bit of obnoxiousness. June put the letter neatly on her bedside cabinet, where she had just taken her book from so she could pack it. "You will be okay. Your parents will understand. Everybody will understand." She promised herself before drifting into a dreamless sleep.

June woke up with the feeling of someone shaking her. She yelled but Frankie hushed her. Millie and Frankie had written letters to their parents too, before sneaking out. June pulled herself out of bed and pulled her shoes on before straightening her duvet. She lifted her bag, slung it over her shoulder and headed towards the window. As she reached the window she twisted around, marched over to her bedside cabinet and placed her letter on her pillow. Her friends were standing behind her. They just stood for a while in complete silence with small grins on their faces. Finally, they tiptoed to the window and crept out. They headed towards the Rogue campus which seemingly looks like lots of little, rundown barns.

June knocked on the door to the main workroom. She heard fumbling inside before the door slowly opened. Sir looked out before opening the door completely and letting the girls in, giving them each a tired nod as they walked past him. "So, June, you have made your decision?" Sir queried, looking at the other girls. "Yes, I have, and I have brought my friends Millie and Frankie. They would also like to join the Rogues." June gestured to the huddling girls. "They are welcome to join, have they left their families yet?" Sir questioned, looking from Millie to Frankie and back at June. "Yes, Sir, they wrote letters, as did I, to inform their families." June proudly announced. Sir nodded before walking to his office and closing the door. The three girls turned to each other and smiled. "Is Sir always that blunt?" Millie quizzed. "Yup, usually." June laughed. Sir's office door opened again and he emerged, holding three keys. He handed them to the girls. "You all share the same dorm but sleep in separate rooms. The keys become personalized to your touch so nobody can get into your dorm unless it is one of you." He informed the girls, making sure they all understood.

The girls marched to their dorm and unlocked the door. The rooms were huge and everything was high quality. "Whoa!" All three girls exclaimed at once. They chose their rooms and unpacked their bags, personalizing. Once they had finished they climbed into their beds. June drifted off to sleep instantly. This was her new home and she was finally happy with it. She was free. For Frankie and Millie on the other hand, slumber didn't did come so easily. All the sounds around them were completely foreign. The Rogues were right on the fringes on the city, the buildings were so close to the towering wall that they looked as though they had been built on to it. On some calm, quiet nights you could hear the noises from the Land of the Forgotten. This night was one of those nights. The girls heard howls and shrieks from birds of unknown descent. It was terrifying. The sounds seemed to be coming from right outside the windows. Just as the girls started to drift to sleep there was a loud crash, causing Frankie to let a loud cry. One of the trees had just fallen. It wasn't an uncommon thing to hear when you're this close to the wall. After that there was eerie silence, leaving the girls unsettled as they tossed and turned, trying to get to sleep.
