Mirror mirror

On the wall

Who is picked on

The most of all?

"it's you and always will be"

My reflection says back

My eyes go wide

And my jaw goes slack

"You get uglier every day

Don't you ever give up?

Stop trying to improve

It won't work so stop."

That was my first encounter

With my ever darkening soul

From then on I lost all hope

On that day my smile she stole.

A few years had past from then

I was about to go out

But she came and started speaking

Words of painful doubt

"Your even worse than last time

How do you sleep at night?

Your going out with friends correct?

You'll give then an awful fright!"

That was my second encounter

With my ever hating soul

From then on I lost all confidence

On that day my strength she stole

When I started high school

I stood up tall and proud

Strutting around in my uniform

Speaking very loud.

But then she turned up again

She ruined everything

Like a hornet buzzing toward me

Barring a poisoned sting

"Oh god, you look awful!

How can you go around in that?

Are trying to make new friends?

They won't go for the gruesome and fat!"

That was my third encounter

With my ever spiteful soul

From then on I lost all my dreams

On that day my happiness she stole

Yesterday I waited

For my friends to knock on the door

I checked my hair in the mirror again

But her face was the one I saw

"Hello again ugly

Did you miss me at all?

I kind off missed you fatso,

I see you still look like a ball!"

This was my last encounter

With my ever pathetic soul

From then on I finally got back

All the things she stole

"Who are you talking about?

I think you have the wrong girl

No one here is fat and ugly

Are you sure you have the right girl?"

She stared back at me

Not knowing what to say

She blinked a few times in confusion

Then finally want away

Mirror mirror

On the wall

Who is the happiest

Of them all?

Me
