This is a Drabble, not a poem, more like a rant. Enjoy my rant which was inspired by Alice in wonderland. I use "contrary wise" a lot,
That is based on Alice as well. Begin and try to keep up!
I had a strange dream once. It was so strange it might have been real, it could have been real. There was no proof that the dream was fiction and reality was real, contrary wise when I was awake I could have been dreaming. I do that thing sometimes where you wake up from a dream and then you wake up from waking up from a dream, but I could just be falling asleep again. I made up a reality where when I would fall asleep in this world I would wake up in another and live on in the dream world, contrary wise, when I fall asleep in that world I could dream of being in this world. That means this world could very well be a dream and the other reality.
My thoughts branched on from there, I was a very bright eight year old, and I thought of bigger things. Actually they were ginormous but whatever word I use it still describes it as big, contrary wise, they are anything but small. I thought that when we die in this world we wake up in another and go on like any other day! And then when we came back to our bed in that world, we would dream up a whole other life time! That meant that the world I was living in was in fact a dream, contrary wise, it was not real. That meant I could live centuries worth of lives In one life time, imagine, just imagine the possibilities of that! Maybe we could dream up how our next life would be like. But, most of the time, we forget the dreams the minute we wake up, right? So in that other world we would forget the life we previously lived and go on to live one from fresh. Like a blank piece of paper, you can draw something on it in pencil one day but the next you could just rub it out with a rubber (eraser if you are American). But remember, sometimes that will leave pencil marks on the paper, very faint but still there; deja vou?
Onwards from that, or backwards, I believed that the dream world was real. You can imagine the bullying, on the contrary, you may not but oh well. Anyway, I would day dream and day dream about it until another crazy idea dropped itself upon my mind; day dreaming. The thing we do when we don't pay attention and let our mind wonder.....but wonder to where!? To the dream world of course! The one I referred to in the first paragraph, remember? Contrary wise, in the first paragraph I referred to it first. When we pay attention in this world we day dream in the other, flip it around, in that world when we day dream we concentrate in this one. Confused? If so then re-read the first paragraph, gosh, keep up chaps! The crazy things I would day dream were so eccentric that they were very much like the strange dream I had which originally sparked this ridiculous thought. Again, the confused ones please go back to the first paragraph, keep up!!
Of course, this all came to an end. I scraped the idea of this nonsense and went back to thinking the way I usually do, about maths and school, contrary wise, I thought of nothing fun anymore. This was a fleeting relief that lasted but a week, I went back to dull things. However, I suddenly remembered this mad thought on an occasion a few nights ago, something triggered that imagination within me again. That, ladies and gents, was a dream. A dream about nonsense...
