"Welcome to Greenvalley Prep. Can I help you?" The women at the front office said with a smile as big as the Jokers.

"Hi, I'm Maya Hart. I was supposed to come here to get my schedule." I say hoping she catch on.

"Right. The new girl. Well welcome to Colorado." The women says. Yes, this is Colorado. Did I forget to mention that?

"I know it's colder than what your used to, but I know you'll love it here. Here's your schedule and locker number and combination. Your student guide will meet you there." The women says handing me a sheet of pink paper.

"Thanks." I say grabbing the paper. I turn to walk away but the boy who lives across from me and his friend walk in. The boy is glaring at me and the girl is on her phone.

"Lucas and Quinn?" I hear a female voice yell. The boy, Lucas, looks up and grabs the girl's, Quinn, shirt. He lightly drags her into the principal's office.

Lucas. Cute name.

I walk into the hallway and look for the junior class hallway.

"Locker 362" I say to myself as I examine the locker numbers.

350. 360. 361. 362.

Once I found my locker, a girl with thick blonde curls was waiting there with a wide smile. She was wearing a yellow sundress with white flats.

"You must be Maya. I'm Tina, your student guide." Tina said with a wave. She helped me get my locker open and all my stuff organized. Than, we started walking down the hallway while she was telling me about herself.

"I'm president of the student council, drama club, future business owners of today club, and I run the Teen Thereby groups." Tina said with a proud walk.

"That's, well, impressive. So why did the office choose you to be my student guide? Not to be mean, it was just a question." I clarify.

"I knew what you meant. They chose me cause' I have every class with you. That and my grades are the highest and I know about every junior in this school."Tina said excitedly.

"Wait so you know about everyone? Who are Lucas and Quinn?" I ask.

"Dress code breakers?" Tina asked.

"Sure." I say letting out a small laugh.

"Lucas is like the bad boy of the school. Rumor has it he's been to jail and gone to rehab. Quinn is like his sidekick." Tina explains.

Ugh. Bad boys. I hate those kind of people. I know it's an act, it has to be. No one is actually like that.

"Wait isn't this a prep school? How are they still here?" I ask.

"Cause, they are freaky smart. The class Lucas is failing is physical education. He just sits in the bleachers listening to his rock music and drawing pictures. Quinn actually does physical education, so she as all A's." Tina explains.

"He looks like the type to do sports and goes outside. He's tan and muscular." I don't even know what I was saying until I said it.

"Have you been paying that much attention to him?" Tina ask wiggling her eyebrows.

"Oh come on, he's hot. I bet he even knows it." I say trying to play it cool.

"True. I know his cousin Riley. She just got back from Maine. She was in rehab." Tina explains.

"Why?" I ask.

"Riley is anorexic. Well, was. I don't know. She's supposed to be over it now. She was my best friend until she moved. I'm supposed to met her today after school. Wanna join?" Tina asked.

"I don't know if I'm aloud to intrude on your bestie reunion." I say.

"Oh please, Riley will love you." Tina says.

"Well, okay." I say. And that's how I ended up in the worst situation of my life.

Hey! I know the chapter was short but it was just to fill you in, ya know?

Red has gone back to being his grumpy old too cool self. He started insulting me again. But I have a funny story!(not about Red)

So I have video production class in the middle of the day so on Friday, the assignment was to make a animal awareness video. I teamed up with Hunter (meh bestie) and some girl named Emily. We asked to go out in the hallway and the teacher said 'yes'.

(Okay before I go on, Hunter is like crazy beautiful so that might explain a lot)

Hunter was talking about how narwhals are people too. Than Koby walks around the corner and Hunter sees him.

"Here are one of those narwhals now." Hunter says grabbing Koby's sleeve. Koby looks really confused. So you know what Koby does? He licks the side of Hunter's face and runs away.

"Die slowly, Koby!" Hunter yells wiping her face. While Emily and I are on the floor laughing.
