9- Parties only lead to Trouble (Part 1)

As 'Just the Girl' by The Click Five played softly in my room, I picked out my outfit for today. Today is Sunday and Tina and Riley wanted to go out for a party before the PSAT. 

I put on a pair of light blue jeans with a some kind of floral crop top on with it. I but on my black combat boots and topped it off with a bracelet my mom gave me for my sixteenth birthday.  My hair fell in loose waves and I had on a lite amount of makeup on.

"Maya! Your friends are here!" I hear Dalton yell. I sigh and took at myself. The shirt fell so it showed a little of my stomach, but if I raised my hands or moved it would surely rise higher.

I skip downstairs to see both covered up in cardigans. Riley was wearing a pink-ish nude color skirt and Tina had black jeans.

"Where you girls going?" Dalton asked.

"None of your business." I snap back. Tina and Riley look at me with shock. They obviously think Dalton's my father.

"Maya I-"

"Just tell my mom not to worry." I say as I walk out and shut the door behind me.

"I can't believe you talk to your dad like that." Riley commented.

"He's not my dad. Come on, he looks like sixty!" I comment. Tina looked at me like I was crazy.

"He looked like mid thirty." Tina commented.

"Don't you see the combover?" I ask getting into Riley's car.

"Maya, he has a full set of brown hair. He's in shape too." Riley commented. Great, Riley was checking out my mom's boyfriend.

"Not Mr.Miller in shape though." Tina said in swoon. Riley started her car and began to drive.

"Mr.Miller?" I ask from the backseat.

"Only the most hottest substitute teacher." Riley said.

"Student teacher relationships are illegal." I comment. Riley and Tina let out a groan.

We pull up to a ever large and nice house. It's almost pitch black outside and with the little light, I already see people passed out on the yard.

"Who's party is this anyway?" I ask as we walk up to the house.

"I don't know. Some new guy who just moved here. He's our age and he's attending our school." Tina explained. We open the door to meet the smell out alcohol and cigarette smoke. All three of us cough.

"Wanna leave and get some smoothies?" Riley asked. We all agree and began to walk out but a herd of party people pushed us in separating us. I looked around but my two friends were no where in sight.

"Great." I say to myself.

"Need help, babe." I hear a all too familiar voice say. My face goes blank and my eyes are filled with fear. I slowly turn around to see him.

Lucas

"Lukey? Do you have a girlfriend?" Minnie asked me. She is currently working hard not to color outside the lines on her horse picture while I'm coloring a bunny.

"No, I thought we had something." I say chuckling at my little joke.

"Ew! No! You're a boy and boys have cooties. A girl told me so." Minnie said cockily. I smile and pick her up.
