Love you to death ...a deadly obsession
Chapter 1 - stranger, the new guy.
"OH MY GOD!, check that out" Katie Molino exclaimed, her bambi brown eyes widening and looking heated as she stared over Isabelle's shoulder towards the entrance to the third floor balcony area, to were the sun was shinning.
God, here we go again, thought Isabelle as she set her loaded tray down on the table, the exclusive and special table on the east balcony of the Jefferson high campus that over-looked the beach of Braxton falls. Reserved by unspoken law for members of Jefferson highs elite group.
She turned and followed Kate's gaze, and caught her breath as the boy in the hallway looked back at her. Even at this distance, across the noisy cheers of the school spirit crown, she felt drawn to him. She could fell the almost physical current that seemed to flow between them. Deep inside her she felt everything twisting in sweet anticipation, sweet lust filled her mind. She pressed her hand to her mouth shocked at her reaction to him.
What's happening to me? she thought, is it his look's? Or is it the way he's staring at me?
The boy had stepped to the side entrance, away from the crown of students surging in to the courtyard, they seemed tom part before him. He was leaning against the wall, hand's in the pockets of his faded dark blue jeans, a slight frown on his face... And he was staring straight at her?
Yes, definatly staring at her , she thought it was her anyway.
His eyes.... So dark and so....intense.
Isabelle had never had a guy stare at her like that before. It was hard to tell the colour of them from here. Were they black? Green black maybe?
He isn't exactly what you would call hansom Isabelle thought, trying to collect her wits. Rugged? yeah. Sexy? definatly sexy, the way he stood there off the far side. Like everyone in sight was not worthy of him. But it wasn't just that arrogance that made him stand out. It was the air of ....I don't know. Danger?
He was a definite bad boy. Something about him made you want to run away at the same time as wanting to jump off a cliff with him. There was something about him and the way he stood that made told you for sure that he knew how to handle himself.
" hey Serena," called Jessica, her voce breaking through Isabelle's daze " has that guy got a thing for you or what?"
Serena! Isabelle thought dismayed, he's been staring at Serena, not me.
Isabelle hoped that she didn't look as humiliated as she felt. What the hell made her think that he had been staring at her so intently? He probably hadn't even noticed her standing there like an idiot gawking at his perfectness with her mouth hanging wide open, at least she hoped he hadn't. she must have looked like a total asscase.
He had been staring at Serena Braxton, resident southern belle. Her ancestor had founded this small but classy little town and then modestly named it after themselves - Braxton falls.
Serena's social credentials' in this part of the country carried a lot of weight.
Yep, he was watching Serena alright. Naturally. Only she could warrant that kind of attention. Serena and Jessica had come to the table right after Isabelle and Kate. They'd been standing behind her the whole time. And he'd been looking past her , while she had mistakenly thought that...
But she was sure....
No. it was always Serena who got the cute ones. Serena Braxton with her thick glossy black hair and slate grey eyes. She was the one they all looked at first.
