A oneshot written from Chapter 3 of We Always Attract and written from Nathan's point of view.

*Nathan's POV*

We left the dance studio and wandered down the corridor to a small room next to the toilets. It was kind of like a little office, with a table and few chairs scattered about. I don't know why the hell they would need a room like this in a dance studio, but to be honest, that wasn't my main priority at that moment.

She was back. After two years of zero contact with her, and she turns up with possibility of touring with me and the boys.

Sophie.

My Sophie.

No, not my Sophie. She hasn't been my Sophie for over two years. Just... Sophie.

I swear I nearly fainted when I saw her, sat on the floor next to Max with those bright blue eyes boring into mine. I mean, I barely even recognised her for one split second because she looked so much more grown up. Her hair was longer and more wavy, her lashes darker, her lips fuller and she had a small cartilage piercing near the top of her ear that wasn't there three years ago.

When she stood up to sing her song, I noticed straight away that her body had changed too; well, it had certainly... developed. The curves of her hips were more prominent, emphasising her slim waist, and her breasts had gotten, well, bigger. I mean, they still weren't huge or anything but they were that perfect handful-

Maybe I was staring at her breasts for a little too long.

But even though she had definitely grown up, but she still looked like the same Sophie I knew back then. Her hair was the same rich chocolate colour it always was and she was wearing a scruffy pair of Converse like she always used to wear with the shoelaces hanging out. She had the same northern accent to her voice and and the same mannerisms that I always used to notice. I even saw her do the signature Sophie eye roll when that girl band where talking.

Basically she was still as completely fucking beautiful as she always was, maybe even more so. I mean, I thought she was stunning two years ago and was shocked that she even wanted to be in a relationship but now she was just so... pretty.

And then she sang. And her voice was so good. Like ridiculously good. She'd developed a fair amount of control over it now and those vocal runs were just like... perfect. And the emotion. My God, the emotion. Sophie always had a knack for expressing her emotion well when she was singing, because it was the only way she felt comfortable expressing it. But now, she'd taken it to a whole new level. She's makes it so easy to believe that she believes in what she's singing about.

For fuck's sake, Nathan, what are you doing?

Stop it. She cheated on you. Cheated.

Don't start falling for her again. It will only end the same. Once a cheat, always a cheat.

Jay's voice was the thing that snapped me out of my daydream.

"You alright Nath?"

Not really.

"Um yeah" I mumbled with a shrug, not really in the mood to talk.

"So what does everyone think?" Max started, "Sophie's brilliant, isn't she?"

"Mate, when you said she was good, I didn't know she was gonna be that good" Jay explained, "like... shit, that's talent right there"

"Her song was amazing too" Siva added, "like you could imagine it being in the charts, couldn't you?"
