"Is she alright?" Siva asked, looking over at Sophie sat on her own in the corner. Her guitar was in her lap and she had that notebook with her so I guessed she was writing a song.

"I don't know what's up with her at the moment" Max sighed, "she's being too quiet and she's not eating"

"If she's not eating, then she's either ill or she's worried about something" I told him. I knew her better than anyone else on this tour and I knew that something was on her mind.

"Oh, she's stressing me out now" Max huffed, "I'm gonna go talk to her"

I watched as he stood up and made his way over to her. They began talking and he sat down next to her. I couldn't tell what they were talking about but there was a lot of Max looking sympathetic and Sophie pulling her face at him. Then he left her again and came back over to us lads.

"She won't tell me" he sighed, sitting down next to me again.

"Yeah, I know she won't" I mumbled, "she'll keep it bottled up until she has a bloody breakdown or something"

"Well, you go to talk to her then" he muttered. I looked over to her but saw she wasn't there. My brows furrowed in confusion but then I spotted her walking quickly over to the door, pushing it open and hurrying into the corridor.

There's definitely something bothering her, I thought. My eyes glided back over to the spot she'd previously been accommodating and they locked with his.

Eugh, fucking dick.

I gave him my best icy glare before turning my attention back to my lunch, though it didn't look very appetising now. I knew I shouldn't be, but I was starting to get worried about Sophie now. I'd seen her when she was feeling a bit down before but she'd never been like this; I normally would have just pestered her about it until she told me what was wrong and then I could try and help her.

But we don't really talk anymore. We're not close anymore.

It was a couple of minutes later when Dave appeared at our table.

"Guys, where's Sophie?" he asked.

"Erm, she's just left" Max told him.

"I need to do her soundcheck now"

"I'll ring her" Max said, pulling his phone from his pocket and flicking through his contacts. He pressed something on this phone before holding it up to his ear.

"Hiya Soph, you alright?" he said, "...are you sure?... alright, where are you now?... okay, can you come down to the stage? Dave wants to do your soundcheck"

He pulled the phone from his ear and hung up, "she's in her dressing room, she says she'll be down in a sec"

Dave nodded before walking off, presumably to go to the stage.

"Do you want me to keep an eye on her?"Jay suggested, "I can go and film her practising, see if she wants to put a cover on Youtube or something"

"Cheers Jay" Max said, "I'll come down to the stage in a bit" he added, rubbing his face, He seemed to be really worried about her.

He shouldn't be. That's my job.

Scratch that, was my job.

Jay and Siva went off to the stage whilst the other two finished off eating their lunch. I still wasn't hungry so I stood up too, deciding to make better use of my time.

"Where you going, Nath?" Max asked.

"Er, toilet"

I wasn't going to the toilet, I was going backstage to keep an eye on Sophie. She obviously wasn't in a good state of mind at the moment and I didn't want anything bad happening to her.
