Maka was quiet and gentle on the outside, all smooth edges and soft
skin. On the inside she was a storm. All night long her mind ran nonstop, one topic to the other.
Never ending ideas and worries filled her head and slipped in quantities through her emerald eyes and loudly shook her voice box in vulgar screams.Nothing ever made her mind quiet. Nothing ever made it stop.
That's why when she was walking down the slightly slanted beige sidewalk, she was shocked.
She had been briskly on her way to the library, her library bag filled to the brim with heavy books filled with sleeping remedies.
She hadn't expected her little brown boots to get caught on the little crack between the pavement.
As she fell, her blond curls falling from her beret, her emerald eyes full of fear, her arms outstretched to protect herself.
She then collided with something warm; someone warm. She looked up, her body had been engulfed in a black sweater, and her emerald eyes met his rubies. They looked at each other, her eyes opened wide, her little pink lips slightly agape, his eyes had been slightly shocked and amused, his mouth pulled into a half sides grin, in which she could barely see his sharp teeth.
And their breath was like steam in the air on that brittle day, swirling around in the sky like a dance without music.
Her blonde hair falling around her shoulders and framing her rosy cheeks, his was tucked into a slim black headband, but the locks of the snow haired boy escaped in a desperate manor from underneath the headbands restrain. She had never expected her mind to suddenly go quiet that day.
The day she met the ruby eyed boy with a shark toothed grin and wild snowy locks.☁︎
