Back For You (DISCONTINUED)

Chapter 5

"Louis? Are you ready?" I heard Louis' mum yell from downstairs. Louis was just finishing buttoning his shirt for his party.

"Just a second mum!" He yelled so she could hear him from downstairs. He smiled excitedly and fixed his hair a bit. "Tori, do I look okay?" He asked me. I nodded and got up.

"I like your shirt," I said pointing at it. His smile got wider and he came and sat next to me.

"Are you excited?" He asked me. I am very excited, it is Louis' tenth birthday and he is having a big party for it. He invited all of his friends and me, but I guess I count as one of his friends right? He does call me his best friend though. I nodded quickly and the doorbell rang.

Louis head snapped up and he stood up.

"Guests!" He exclaimed. "Come on!" He picked me up and set me on the floor. I am seven I can get off the bed myself! But I wasn't going to tell him, this was his party and he was very excited for it.

I dusted my light pink dress off that Louis told me to wear and followed him downstairs.

"Lou, Ashton is here!" His mum yelled walking to the stairway where we were coming down.

"Ash!" he yelled going down the stairs quickly and running into the living room. I ran closely behind him and when he stopped I hid behind him and cluched his hand. They talked a little and then Louis glanced at me and I looked up at him. I had never met Ashton before, but Louis told me he had a little sister my age.

"Who is that?" Ashton asked pointing at me and I went behind Louis again.

"This is Tori, she's one of my friends and she's a tad shy," he said pulling me out from behind him and Ashton looked at me and smiled. He bent down a bit and he stuck out his hand.

"Hi, I'm Ashton," I slowly took his hand and shook it a bit. He stood back up and I looked outside from the window that was behind him. There were small snowflakes starting to come down and I tugged on Louis hand and he looked at me.

"Look! It's snowing!" I said pointing outside. More guests started coming in and Louis looked outside.

"Ash lets go out," he said picking me up and taking me outside. I squirmed a bit and he put me down. I ran around catching snowflakes on my tounge and feeling them melt in my mouth. 

After a while there was enough snow to cover the ground so Louis threw a snowball at one of his friends. Then everyone started throwing snowballs at eachother and I threw a snowball at Louis and it hit the back of his head. He turned around and threw one at me and got it on my forehead. I stuck my tounge out at him and he did the same. I threw more at him and he dodged a few, but I hit him a few times.

"Time for cake!" Louis mum said calling us inside. We all ran inside and took a seat at the table. Louis was sitting at the front of the table and I was sitting next to him and another person was sitting opposite of me. The whole table was covered in soccer related stuff or cake.

His mum lit the candles and we all sang to him.

"What did you wish for?" I asked him taking a bite of the chocolate cake.

"Nothing," he shrugged and took a bite.

"Why?" I asked him licking the frosting off my fingers. He chuckled and handed me a napkin. I took it and wiped my hands and my face.

"Because I already have everything I want," he said.

"I love you," I said and I got out of my seat and hugged him, a really long hug that the adults 'awwed' about.

"Love you too," he said. He hugged me back and when we let go I gave him a big grin and finished my cake. None of his friends asked who I was, but Ash played with me a little. He and Louis and some other guy tried to teach me how to play soccer, but I wasn't very good.

The words hit me like a knofe to my heart. Nick was dead, Nick was dead. The words just kept repeating in my head still trying to figure out if I should belive them. My knees suddenly became weak and I crumpled to the floor. I started sobbing and Danny tried to help my up, but I wouldn't function.

I felt like my heart was ripped into a million tiny peices and it hurt. Just the fact that I would never have ice cream with him ever again killed me, or that he would never be there to comfort me anymore. I was stuck in my head thinking about that and sobbing, the doctor left after talking to my mom and I burried my face in my hands.

"Shhhh it's going to be okay," Danny tried to calm me down, but I just went into histerics. They patted my back and hugged me, but that didn't work either.

"No, nothing will be okay," I choked out. "He was my best friend and now he's gone!" I said. I saw Louis flinch when I caled him my best friend. I ran into his room and sat onto the chair next to his lifeless body that was once filled with so much energy.

I took his hand and and squeezed it. I rested my head on his chest and started crying even more.

"Nick? Why'd you leave me?" I mumbled and put his hand around my shoulders and layed on the bed and closed my eyes. He was cold and there was no life in him. I couldn't believe he was dead, I just can't. He was always there for me and now he's gone.

I started mumbling the words to 'If I die young' by The Band Perry and opened my eyes and looked around the room. I saw Tylenol pills and got out of the bed completel dazed. I walked over to them and grabbed a few. I got some water from the sink and when I was about to put the pills in Louis came in. He saw me and ran over. I quickly threw the pills into my mouth and swallowed.

Everything after that went in slow motion. Louis grabbed my hands and called for help. People were coming in and asking what happened as a doctor whicked me away on a stretcher. There was a numbness starting at my toes and coming up my body. Louis tried to explain what happened and doctors were testing me and doing all sorts of things to me.

The numbness went up my arms and finally I blacked out and could hear or see nothing.

Hey! Please don't hate me for not updating in a while! I know that was short and like half of the chapter was the back story but I needed to update. I was crying when Nick died and I i could barely write it. I must go now it is 2:24 am where I am.
