"They're going to hate me," I stated as Sergio drove my to Venturi manor.

"No they won't," Sergio assured me. "Sofia and Natale care about you. If they didn't they wouldn't have tried to keep you out of this life."

I rested my head on the window, a light drizzle was starting to fall. By the time we reached Venturi manor the drizzle had turned into a downpour. Sergio ushered me into the house and immediately took me to the kitchen were Dante and Luca were try to get Alphonso to put raw meat on his eye.

"Get that fucking thing away from me," Alphonso growled, pushed Luca's arm away.

"Come on, Al," Dante said, rolling his eyes. "This is how all the big tough guys on TV do it!"

I sighed and rolled my eyes. "Ok you two, knock it off. Dante go get some ice to put on his eye...and cheek...and lip. Luca go get me a bowl of water and a rag to wash the blood off with."

Dante and Luca did as I said while I took a seat next to Alphonso. He still refused to look at me and I growled. I roughly grabbed his face and forced him to meet my eyes.

"Ow!" he howled in pain.

"Stop ignoring me," I said, letting him go. Luca handed me a bowl of water with a rag in it and Dante set an icepack on the table next to us. Alphonso winced when I started dabbing his face with the damp rag. "What in the world possessed you to fight Clement?" I asked gently.

He shrugged. "He was asking for it."

I hummed in agreement. "I also take it that you know about our soon to be living situation." Alphonso scowled and I sighed. "It was bound to happen sooner or later."

"Yeah, well I was hoping for later rather than sooner," he mumbled. "Just the thought of him being able to see you more than I do, eating meals with you every night, and being in walking distance of your bedroom pisses me off."

"Alphonso," I moaned in frustration. "How many times must I say this? He is going to be a stepbrother! Nothing is going to happen." When I finally got most of the blood off his face I handed him the icepack to hold over his eye.

"A stepbrother who kissed you."

"He only kissed me to piss you off. If you would just stop letting him get to you and would leave me alone." I got up and went over to the sink the wash the rag off. "So, um...Natale and Sofia know about us.... I think."

"You think?"

"I...well it didn't come out directly but our relationship was implied..."

"How do you fell about that? I mean, about them knowing?"

I shrugged my shoulders. How did I fell about it? In a way I'm relieved that they finally know the truth. I'm more worried than anything, though. The look Natale was giving me almost tore my heart out. She looked so betrayed. I knew that they would be hurt when they found out but I had never imagined... How will they ever forgive me? Did I even deserve their forgiveness? I've been their best friend far longer than I've known Alphonso. If anything they should have been given my loyalty.
