I open my eyes, the light blinds me. I hear Dylan talking to his dad.
" Hey Dad. " Dylan Says
" You guys shot her with an arrow? " he sounds disappointed.
" Yeah but you wouldn't understand she was in- " " I didn't raise you like this Dylan, what would your mother say? "
" I don't know.. " Dylan says quietly
" look I gotta go, you're grounded for the rest of the week " he says slamming the door.
" I'm Sorry Teresa " he says grabbing my hand
" Mr. O'Brien? " a woman's voice says
" Yes? " he says letting go of my hand
" I'm just here to let you know that Teresa is okay and the arrow didn't do much damage " she says " she should be awake any minute now "
I open my eyes " Teresa! " Dylan says running over to me. Showering me with kisses
" Hi " I say laughing
" I'll let you two be " the doctor nods.
" it took you awhile to wake up, but the arrow worked " he smiles
" yeah but your grounded because of it " I add
" you heard that? " he asks concerned
" Unfortunately " I reply
He looks away " it's fine. I'll deal with him later "
" You should have just let the Nogi- " " No Teresa, I love you too much to let you go "
" If you love me you should've let me go " I snap
" No- I just- " He grabs his backpack " I gotta go "
" Where are you going? " I ask
" I just have to leave " he opens the door " Bye Teresa "
