Her knuckles began to bleed and her normally soft skin was being torn by the brick wall she was punching. Each impact of her fist caused a bit of anger to retreat from her body.

    "Why does she exist?"

She punched at the wall again, the blood from her knuckles splattering lightly on the sandpaper-esk bricks.

    "She is such a whore!"

She whispered out another multitude of swears as she hit the wall again, her rage numbing the pain.

    "SHE DOESN'T DESERVE HIM!!!"

After her last few goes at the wall, she stopped. Her hands were violently shaking against her will, blood spurting from her overly brush-burned knuckles.

She sighed and rested her scraped and bruised hands at her side. She turned on her     heels and puttered away from the wall. Her cat ears folded downwards, and her tail was on edge.

She picked up her briefcase with her damaged hands and stormed out the schoolyard. The sole of her shoes began to scuff the mat sidewalk, leaving small imprints from the rubber.

She wasn't alone on this walk home. Other students were scattered around her, some on bikes pedaling alongside their friends, others from the track team jogging home in their P.E uniforms. But, she was alone. No one to walk next to her, to keep up with her, no one. Of course, she didn't care. This view was a pleasurable one for her. Hekate always had been an observer, never wanting to speak to others beside those she knew.

However, she did want something more. Someone who could talk to her, in very flesh and blood. Someone to hold when she is cold, someone to love her when she was lonesome. She felt glad when Hitmou talked to her. Someone had finally noticed her and listened to what she said, in a sense.

She hid her damaged knuckles under her sweater sleeves and picked up the pace of her walk. Her phone began vibrating in her pocket, causing her to jump a bit at the feel. She grasped it out of her pocket and turned it on. She had a message from her older sister, telling her to pick up groceries for the week. She diverted her path and walked, her eyes still focused on the list of items to buy, toward the small mart, *Kyo Mart*, that is.

Hekate later arrived at her apartment, the warm orange sunset shining behind the white-gray walls of the small apartment complex. She walked up the metal stairs and up to her door. She took out her keys and unlocked the door. She pushed the frame open and flipped on the lights as she entered. She placed the plastic bags filled with items her sister needed. Her sister was still at school, seeing as she was the student council president and had a club to attend to.

Hekate slipped off her shoes and set them by the door. She paced over to her room and opened the door. She threw her briefcase onto her bed and sat at the computer. 'Do it.'

She searched up the school directory, looking through each year, until she found her.

"Hekate. Get up! Breakfast is ready!"

Hekate's eyes slowly parted and she wiped the sleep away from her eyes. Her sister closed the door. She looked at the clock resting on her desk, "6:00am" it read. She got up, stretched her back and next, and strolled toward the bathroom.

She stripped herself of her prior school clothes and turned on the faucet for the bath. It began to fill up with steamy water. She sat in the tub and began to scrub herself with soap. 'I wonder how long I slept. I hope I don't have dark circles. Senpai can't see me like this.' Her knuckled were still damaged and sore, as the pain set in as she got home the night prior. She rinsed her raven black hair and washed each strand thoroughly. Finally, she rinsed off her cat ears, dampening them with water.

After a complete bath, she brushed her hair and changed into a new uniform, that was folded crisply by her sister. Luckily, the dark circles were light and barely noticeable. She walked out to the kitchen, the sweet golden sunshine streaming in through the windows.

    "Morning, onee-chan."

Her black pigtailed sister turned over to Hekate from the table, and smiled lightly at her.

"Mornin'! How was your first day? Are you liking the school so far?

"It was fine. You did a good job organizing over the summer."

"Thanks!" Her sister's crimson red cat ears flipped up in happiness as she sipped her soup.

"Got any new members?" Hekate questioned as she sat down infront of the toast and eggs her sister cooked.

"We have a few of them! Hitomu Kyoskii and Tari Mitsune. I think they are dating, or, at least, thats what Tari-chan said. Although, she in notorious for having relationships that the opposite party doesn't know about. There are a few more younger members-" Her sisters voice started to fade away in the morning sunlight as Hekate's thoughs began to go elsewhere.

Hekate bit her tongue, spilling blood. Those names, Hitomu, her senpai whom she adored. And Tari. Hekate knew lots about Tari. Her late night research gave her info on her, alot of it was on the people she dated. Unfortunately, none that she could use the blackmail her with. Hekate grinned as her sister stopped talking. Hekate reached out for the juice laid out for her and sipped it cool liquid, her blood mixing with the orange drink. She felt it run down her throat, coating and cooling it.

"Oh, look at that. I need to be at school! I promised to help an underclassman with homework. See ya!" Her sister shuffled to the door and grabbed her bag. She waved as she walked out the door.

"Bye Kat!" Hekate's smiled faded as her sister left. 'Fuck. I forgot about homework.'
