Monday Morning
Addy's pov:
I woke up from the light shining in the window. I turned off my alarm cause it would go off in 3 minutes.
"Kate." I said lightly shaking her shoulder.
"Okay...just a couple more minutes." She whispered still tired. I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I pulled on black softball pants, a light blue tournament shirt from earlier this summer, and black socks. I brushed my hair and put it up in a ponytail.
"Kate, you ready?" I asked.
"Yeah, one second." I slid my feet in my Nike slides and grabbed my phone off the charger.

We sat down to eat our pancakes and I looked around to all the tables in sight, hoping to see Jaden. No sight of him or any of his team.
"Addy? Are you listening?"
                                   *  *  *
Later we had our first session of training. We registered as a team so we all stayed together instead of being split up like people who came without a team. Our coach or trainer or whatever you want to call her introduced herself. "I'm Melissa, but you can call me Coach Mel while we're training. I know you all know each other but I don't know you so can you go around and say your names please?"
(The names of all Addy and Kate's teammates are in the Character Description)
We all said our names and the position we prefer. "Let's run a little to get started. How about we go along the inside edge of the fence, jog the first lap sprint the second and then repeat it?"
"Sounds good to me." I said. Unlike a lot of people I liked running.
"Alright lets see..." Coach Mel said when we got back. I liked that she worked out and trained with us.
"Madie first, Kimmy second, Alyssa short, Maria third. Then I want Alyvia right, Lyndsey center, and Liz get left. I'll pitch for right now who wants to catch?"
"Me! Brooke yelled.
"Okay, Grace, Addy, Kate and Lynn your batting. Your just hitting, after you hit move out of the way for the next person and we will switch then. We got what we needed and ran out of the dugout and went where we were supposed to go. Lynn decided she would go first. Coach Mel threw her the first pitch.
"Yikes! Maybe I should be the signing up for softball camp looks I need the practice more then you guys!" She said smiling. We all laughed. Coach Mel threw her a way better pitch this time and Lynn hit a grounder to Alyssa at short stop. Kate was up next. She didn't like the first pitch so she waited. Coach Mel threw another and Kate sent the ball flying to the center of the outfield right over Lyndsey's head. "Nice swing." Grace said complimenting Kate. "Thanks." She said smirking. "Top that Addy."
Oh I will. I thought to my self. I stepped up to the plate and Coach Mel threw it right down the pipe. I swung hard with no hesitation and sent it flying over the fence.
"Damn." I heard a familiar voice say. I stepped away from the plate and looked back to see Jaden, Camden, Chayton, and Jake standing behind me.
