11:24 am.

It's winter. Snow, ice and the warmth of your home. I love the winter. The homeyness of our mansion always gives me a pleasant and heart-warming feeling. It makes coming home so much better.

And it's a good excuse to order food.

I love ordering food, but it's better to hunt down your prey because... Well, ask my brother. He says it's to keep ourselves in shape, but I'm already in top-shape. I've a body to die for, I've looks to envy, and a killing personality. But hey, aren't all beauties bitches? I mean, I got to keep up the cliche you know. They exist for a reason.

I hear my brother sigh beside me, "I can hear your thoughts, you know."

I give him a smug smile and wink. As vampires we have some abilities humans don't have. Some of us can read minds, others can read emotions, others can read hidden motives and desires. There're also those who can read aura's and the  such. Then there are the more passive abilities like extreme beauty, speed, eye sight and so on. Some even have multiple abilities.

"Don't get upset," my sister says. My sister has the ability to read and influence emotions. Both of my siblings are older than me, so I get spoiled a lot. At least that's what I'd like to say, but I've to admit they think independence is more important, which is true, so they raised me like that. I don't blame them for the way they raised me. Though, being spoiled from time to time would've been nice.

"And you," my sister says to me. "Don't get too excited or you might die."

"But sis," I whine. "It's winter! Winter! I love winter!"

My sister sighs, "If you'd had a heart you'd die of a heart attack."

"It's a good thing that I'm dead then," I grin. Every year they have to deal with an over-enthusiastic me, but I don't care. It's not like I'm on rampage, so they should be able to handle me. "Enough about it, let's order food!"

Both my siblings sigh and shake their heads. I can be so childish sometimes, is what they think. Even though I don't have the ability to read minds, I just know what they think by the expression on their faces.

"How about food and new servants?" My sister suggests.

"Yes!" I exclaim happily. Some of the current servants smell so delicious! My brother has to pull me off of some of them once in a while. My olfactory is my ability. I can smell anything and everything. You could say I'm a vampiric dog. My siblings even use me to hunt down the tastiest prey around.

"Just don't suck them dry when they're in our service. That's wasting our money."

"Yes sir," I say and salute to my brother in a playful manner. I run upstairs and get my phone. As I'm dialing the food service my sister strolls into my room.

"How about I take Chris and you get Jasmine?" She says, trying to make a deal with me. I once told her who'd taste the best and of course she wants the best. Jasmine's the second best.

"What about brother? Won't he be upset when we snatch the most delicious around here?"

"I've discussed it with him. He's fine with it." I narrow my eyes. My sister is a master at playing with emotions and the perfect woman when it comes to making deals. With her ability she easily manipulates everyone around her.

"You made a deal with him, didn't you?" I ask in suspicion. She shrugs, which confirms my suspicion. I'm not dumb.

"Okay, you can have Chris and I take Jasmine if I get to choose my servants first." Chris is also one of my servants and as his mistress my siblings have no say in what I do with my servants. Nor do I have any say in the way they treat their slaves.

"Sure, I think brother wouldn't mind." I grin. I was mostly the second or last to pick my servants so having to pick them first I'll be able to get the best.

"Hello?" I hear. I look at the direction the sound came from and realize I forgot I was making a call.

"Hi," I say hastily. "We want to order food and servants."

"Which house, Miss?"

Slightly insulted I say, "Are you new?" A silence fills the phone, which I take as a yes. "Tell your boss I expect at least three free servants," and I hang before he has the chance to protest, or even say anything at all.

"Aren't you exaggerating?" My sister asks.

"No, sis. We've a name and honor to defend. I won't let some imbecile get away after insulting me."

"What did he do wrong? He only asked the name of our house, that's no insult."

"He should've known our house. We are rich and influential. I expect everyone to know us and serve us."

"You're harsh," my sister chips.

"Whatever. You use trickery and deceit while I use authority to deal with apeshit. Who cares?" With another sigh my sister shakes her head slightly.

"You mean I prefer diplomacy while you rely on your physical strength and dominance." Both my siblings are the defensive type of vampire, using their smart asses to bring down their enemies and problems, while I'm the offensive type, using sheer muscle strength to solve my problems.

"Whatever," I shrug. "Time to prepare for our new servants." I smile as my sister rushes out of my room.

Most servants will serve as dinner tonight.
