One year later:
Vivian’s POV
Clunk clunk cluck, I opened my eyes and turned my head to the side to see a man in black combat boots, black army pants, a white t-shirt, and a black leather jacket. He had pale skin with short black hair spiked up and messy. Another type of shifter, I thought. I thought nothing of it and went back to relaxing on the recreation table.
After I woke up a year ago I had no memory of who I was, but I knew what I was. I had also known what I could do and how to do it. I guess I got off lucky considering I was still alive and all. It was odd that I only remembered certain things like the hunters were bad, or the fact I was captured by them. But for some reason I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was missed or that someone was searching for me out side of here.
This place that I had been in for the past year was a prison for shifters. The thing is there are so many young shifters that it's getting harder for the hunters to contain them all. Since there are so many of us they split us into different sectors. I was in Sector 1, the sector filled with the most deadly shifters in existence. Being the dragon I am life was a little easier. Being a dragon had its advantages, like elemental powers and immortality. But is it a better life to live if you knew you had all the time in the world?
I was brought out of my thoughts when, the door rushed open and closed and the familiar clunk of the combat boots. I knew he was the boy I heard and saw earlier. I place my hands behind my head and thought nothing of it. The army boy tried to quietly make his way over to me, but I didn’t want to be pestered I just wanted to be left alone. Besides the last person to pester me got their ass handed to them.
"Hey what's with these people?" he asked. His voice was low and deep.
"They don’t want to get their asses kicked." I snapped not in the mood to be friendly. I opened my eyes and turned my head to look at him.
"Oh so there all afraid of you?" he asked.
"Dude if you’re looking for trouble you’re going to get it. Now run along." I growled. He raised an eyebrow.
"Well with that dog like growl I would say you are a werewolf. Am I right?" he asked in a cocky tone, a little too cocky if you asked me.
"Do you want to challenge me new guy or are you just here to make small talk." I snapped venomously.
"You don't want to challenge me girl." he growled back. I felt my hand start to transform into claws and my teeth shoot out like fangs. I closed my eye willing myself to control my raging fire within.
"I suggest you leave me alone." I said between clenched teeth. I opened my eyes to see his eyes full of arrogance. His eyes widened in shock. My eyes were probably slits and glowing purple.
"Now you understand why they are nowhere near me." I said with a grin.
"I thought I was the last one..." he trailed off.
"Wait you’re a dragon too?" I asked with shock. He can’t be. That's not possible!
"Yup. I think I know why I was transferred." he said with a cocky grin. I knew exactly were his mind was going.
"Oh hell no. Never!" I yelled. He laughed and the other people around the room stood there in shock. The fire inside me was boiling and I lost some control. I pointed at the camera and released the lightning that had been building up. The camera shot out in a fit of sparks. And the control came back. He looked at me and smiled.
"Your more powerful than I thought." he smiled. I give him a murderous look.
"Get away from me before I really lose control." my dragon growled. He looked at me and inched closer to me. I flipped off the table and landed on my feet.
