Keira:
I awoke with a massive headache, groaning I turned to my side to look at what time it was.

I only had 30 minutes to get ready for school.

I pressed snooze on my alarm and closed my eyes again. In what seemed like seconds, my alarm blared again.

I threw my legs off the bed and pulled on my black skinny jeans, a maroon sweater, and my black combat boots. I fluffed my hair and applied light eye shadow and mascara.

"Morning Michael." I yawned as I prepared to make my coffee.

However, when I reached for the pot, I noticed it was already full.

"Hey, you didn't need to make me coffee." I looked confused at Michael.

"I didn't, Scarlett stayed so late she eventually stayed the night. Which obviously led to coffee."

"Ew, is she still here?" I questioned as I poured some coffee into my to-go cup.

"Actually yeah..." Michael started to say before I cut him off.

"Okay, that's my cue to go. I have to pick up Sierra." I headed for the door.

"Doesn't school not start until 20 more minutes?" Scarlett asked coming out of the bathroom dressed in some tight jeans and a dark blue sweater that complimented her blue eyes, and her long curly dirty blonde hair.

I took in her full appearance before answering, "yeah, but you're here so I'm leaving. I hope you had fun with my brother last night."

She just laughed, "it's nothing like that."

"So you're into girls?" I tried not to sound hopeful, I hoped it worked.

Wait, I didn't actually care. I hated that she was trying to act like my mom.

She laughed again, "In your dreams."

"I don't dream, bitch." I whispered the last part since my brother was still in the kitchen.

She shook her head and headed to be with my brother. I left and didn't look back.

"She's such a hoe." I told Sierra after replaying the events of today.

"Yeah, but she's hot and it's obvious you think so." She stated and I sneered at her.

"I do NOT think that. She's not my type anyways." I defended myself.

"Since when is a hot girl not your type?" Sierra retorted and I held my breath.

"I don't like her, I don't even like being near her." I hopped out of my car, hoping the conversation would stop there.

"Right. Okay." Sierra said sarcastically.

I didn't reply and instead slung my backpack over my shoulder and put both my headphones in.

The rest of the school week had gone by slowly and I had a ton of homework stacked up for me to do.

Obviously I wasn't going to do it.

"Hey Michael, Sierra and I are going to hang out tonight. I probably won't be home until 12" I said on my way out the door.

"Ah, sorry to break your plans, but you can't."

"Why not? It's Saturday night." I protested.

"Be back by at the most 9:00." Michael stated firmly.

"What. Why?" I glanced at the clock and saw that it was already six o'clock.

"I have to go out of town for a business trip for the weekend and I asked Scarlett to watch over you." He replied as if he was bored with it.
