Chapter 6
"The Flame Horse Entei"
Luna's POV
We have been walking for about half a day now and we finally reached a small village before the sun went down. The monk Miroku told the elder of the village that there were some demons that had taken over his home. Then he put a seal on a wall and said it was gone.
The man was so grateful that he did that, that the elder and his wife invited us to stay the night at their home. Though to be honest, I don't believe that there were any actual demons in that house or anything. But I don't want to judge Miroku before I know him or anyone really.
The dog demon Inuyasha doesn't seem like he likes me very much but Kagome said to ignore him.
She has this strange power over him that whenever she says 'sit' he goes face first into the ground. I'm not going to lie it's pretty hilarious. I had put Risk in a barn before we went into the elders home. Now we are sitting and eating food that the elder had brought to us. It was a pretty peaceful time. Once everyone was finished we all started a casual conversation.
"So Luna," I looked at Sango as she spoke to me.
"How are you enjoying your first day around us?" I smile softly as I look at them. "It's pretty amazing. I mean I haven't really been around other people this much but it's nice."
Kagome smiled at me and said. "Well we're glad to have you join our little group, don't we Inuyasha," she looked at him as he scoffed. "Whatever." I could still tell he hated me but Kagome just hit him on the head.
"Ouch Kagome what was that for?!" He yelled angrily, it seemed to me that he had a serious anger issue.
"Don't be so rude Inuyasha!" She yelled back at him as they glared at eachother. I looked at the small fox demon named Shippo and whispered. "Are they normally like this?" He nodded and sighed. "Yes they always act like that. It's normal for them." I nodded and watch as they turn away from eachother.
All in all it was a pretty calm night. Until suddenly, everyone including me, sensed a terrible darkness that was coming our way. It was sort of like the same feeling I got when I was with Risk except more... Sinister. As though this aura was just pure evil.
Risks was different in the way that, he wasn't a bad horse because I had tamed him.
"Wh-what's that..?" Shippo asked scaredly as he looked at everyone. Kirara growled slightly. Inuyasha stood up and looked outside. "I can smell him, it's Hakudoshi and that Horse of his Entei. They're coming our way." Everyone looked at him nervously except for me because I was very confused.
"Who's that?" I asked and Mirkoku looked at me. "Hakudoshi is a terrible demon, he looks like a little boy but he is pure evil. Entei is much like your horse risk except more bloodthirsty." I could tell he was serious so I nodded. "Alright. What should we do?" Inuyasha sighed and stood up. "Well obviously we have to stop him, you coming everyone." They nodded and stood up and I did as well.
"I'm going to go get Risk." Sango nodded at me. "That's a good idea, it'll probably be easier to fight Hakudoshi and Entei with him." I nodded and quickly went to the barn where I had left Risk. I found that he was trying to break out of his pen so I quickly opened the door, once he saw it was me he calmed down just enough for me to put his reins on him.
I pet his head gently. "Shhh, bud it's okay, I know you sense that aura as well. But you have to trust me, alright?" Risk bobs his head and I nod. "Alright, let's go." I lead him out of the barn by his reins and over to where the others were.
"I'm back." Everyone looked at me and nods. "Good, he's almost here." Inuyasha said as he looked at the sky, I did as well as I saw a fire horse and a small child on its back riding towards us from the sky. Was this demon Hakudoshi that they were talking about, that small child? I don't understand.
But that doesn't matter what he looks like, I can sense the dark aura from here. Sangos cat Kirara transformed into a much larger cat demon after seeing the two.
I knew that there would be a fight, I just hope no one gets hurt in the process... As long as I listen to everyone, it will all be alright.
