Hello my lovelies! You know what's completely weird? I just wrote the prologue to the sequel of this. Amazing of me, I know. If you knew how I'm ending this story, and could see the original idea, you'd be flabbergasted! It's completely changed! ALSO!! Add Caden on FB! Here's the link, it's also in the extended link too: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002690750577 Can you believe we're on chapter 7?!
More Than Words
It's been a week. An amazing week. Caden was the perfect boyfriend; he'd hold doors open for me, carry my books, even open my locker, he even went out of his way to hold my hand in the halls! Lucy was absent all week, which was surprising. She's never absent, unless maybe she got sick off the kids she feeds on at night?
Today was Sunday, a week since me and Caden kissed and I guessed became an official couple. I couldn't have been happier. We were currently sitting on the couch in his house. His parents (thank God!) were out. I was not ready to handle his mom yet. I guessed we'd been lucky enough this week; no Lucy, no evil mom. Mike hadn't even called this week, which upsetted me. Even after all we'd been through, I still loved him. He was my brother.
I suddenly gasped, and Caden looked at me questioningly. "We never decided on a last song!" I yelled.
He raised an eyebrow. "I'm still not taking I Wish You Knew from you, Jen." he said warningly.
I sighed. "Yeah, yeah. Anyway, let see the list of songs we haven't gotten yet." He quickly nodded and ran up the stairs, returning not too long later.
He was panting. He handed me the list and I looked through the titles 'What Is Love?' 'I Want You' 'Go Your Own Way' 'Marry You' MARRY YOU!
"CADEN!" I yelled. He squealed in surprise and I laughed at him. He glared at me and pushed me over on the couch and started tickling me. I squealed and this time he laughed, then pulled away, still straddling me.
"Is it still funny?" he questioned, raising his eyebrows at me.
I smirked and reached up and ran a hand through his hair. "Sure, sure." He leaned down and gave me a quick peck, causing me to blush, then he got off and helped me sit up.
"So why did you yell my name?" he asked.
"This song, 'Marry You', it's perfect. You can make it a duet, or not. But it's perfect." He grabbed the paper from me and looked over the lyrics. He began singing them.
It's a beautiful night, we're lookin' for somethin' dumb to do, Hey baby, I think I wanna Marry You
His voice was amazing. And his words warmed my heart. I began singing, deciding to give it a chance. I was pretty good.
Is it the look in your eyes? Or is it this dancing juice? Who cares baby? I think I wanna Marry You
Caden smiled softly at me and continued with the next line.
Well, I know this little chapel on the boulevard we can go. No one will know, Oh, come on, girl.
(a/n/ Jeny Caden both from now on)
Who cares if we're trashed? Got a pocket full of cash we can blow. Shots of patron, and it's on, girl.
Don't say no, no, no, no, no. Just say yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And we'll go, go, go, go, go. If you're ready, like I'm ready
'Cause it's a beautiful night, we're lookin' for somethin' dumb to do, Hey baby, I think I wanna Marry You
Is it the look in your eyes? Or is it this dancing juice? Who cares baby, I think I wanna Marry You
"Just say I do," he muttered softly. That wasn't the end of the song, but we stopped there. It was the perfect way to end it there during that moment.
"Jeny," he trailed off. I raised an eyebrow. "Yes?" I asked.
"I... I think I... nevermind." he muttered.
I was totally curious as to what he wanted to say, as my mind racked for explanations, but decided not to push it. If it was really important, he'd tell me later.
He got up off the couch and grabbed my hand, leading me to the kitchen. He picked me up at the waist, causing me to blush, and set me down on a stool.
"I think we have our last song on the list." he said, taking out two ice cream sandwiches from the freezer. He opened one and bit into it, then handed me the other one. I smiled gratefully and took a bite of mine, moaning at the taste. Chocolate is so good.
He laughed at me in my own little chocolate world. I swallowed the deliciousness. "Yep, finally. You are so picky," I joked.
He smiled. "Hell yeah I am." he said, with an arrogant grin, causing me to laugh out loud at the smugness that was evident on his face and in his voice.
We looked at each other and suddenly burst into song again with one line, "I think I wanna Marry You!"
We laughed together and leaned closer and finally kissed again. I wanted it to last. I just knew that Lucy would be back on Monday and have something to say or do that could potentially hurt me.
Sorry it's a little short! It's late here! Anywhoo, the Glee Cast version of Marry You is over there ><>>>> The original is sung by Bruno Mars. Amazing(:
ALSO!! I kinda wanna do a funny little questions thingy with Caden, Jeny, Vivi, Mike, and Lucy (unfortunately) SO ASK QUESTIONS PLESEASEASEASEASE!!! :D
