Great. As I walk through the hotel lobby to the elevator, I can't help thinking about how crappy this day was. The interview went horrible, which was probably because I just woke up. To top it off, we had the worst concert. The crowd seemed dead, and Luke's voice cracked at least ten times.
When I step into the elevator, I can't help but noticing how sore my hands are from signing the autographs for thousands of screaming teenagers. My head also hurts, and I look forward to relaxing in my own room, and watching Netflix. The elevator finally dings, and I step into the hallway and get out my key.
I'm room 307, and right beside Calum, and Luke and Michael are directly across the hall from us. As I reach the room, a feeling of relief washes over me. I have a whole room to myself, where I can relax without being interrupted by the other guys. Perfect.
As my hand twists the key into the lock, I find a room that looks like a tornado hit it.
My entire room that was supposed to be perfect is now covered in toilet paper! I throw the key onto the ground, and storm over to the dresser, where I can see a note.
It says, "Have fun cleaning it up Ashton! -Calum"
The first thought that comes to my mind is that he somehow broke into the room. But, then I remember that our rooms are connected.
"That little bitch!", I mutter under my breath
I throw the note onto the ground, and storm towards the door that connects our rooms. As I slam the door open, I find Calum laying on his bed, texting on his phone.
He looks up at me with confusion, then a smug grin forms on his face.
"Like your little surprise?" He asks.
"No Calum, that's not fucking funny! I was looking forward to relaxing today, and yet you had to go mess it up in a immature prank!"
"Woah chill man! I thought it was funny, but I guess it's not to you. Sorry! Here, I'll help you clean it up, let's go."
As I walk out the room with Calum, I can't help but notice how pretty his eyes are. No homo or anything, but I can definitely see why he gets a lot of the girls. While I'm still looking, he looks at me. Shit. I move my eyes away and open the door.
Calum's eyes widen in surprise, and I think he sees how much of a mess he's made. I hope he feels bad about it.
"I'm really sorry Ashton, I didn't notice how much of a mess I made. It was immature, and I won't do it again."
"It's okay, just don't do it again, okay? Now let's start cleaning."
We both move to different sections of the room, and start putting the toilet paper into bags. An odd and awkward silence fills the room, and I don't like it. But, he does kind of deserve it. Although it is nice of him to clean it up.
After thirty minutes or so, the room is cleaned up, and we've put the bags in the trash. He starts waking towards the door, and I head over to the bed, and take out my phone. When he's about to go into his room, he turns and looks at me, like he's expecting something.
"Oh yeah, thanks for helping me clean up, I appreciate it." I tell him.
"No problem. Hey, I have a funny video to show you Ashton." He says.
"Okay, come on over."
While he walks to the bed, I scoot over and make room for him. He sits down, and pulls out his phone. The video is taking a while to load, probably because of the crappy WiFi at the hotel. Then, the video finally loads, but it's not what I expected, at all.
It's a video of two men making out, and it makes me uncomfortable. It's kind of weird to even be watching it, since I don't watch this kind of stuff. I look at Calum, and he's looking at the screen, his face as red as a tomato. Then, the video finally ends.
"So what'd you think of that?" He asks.
"Um, it was kind of weird. Are you sure it was the right video?"
"Yeah I'm sure." He says.
We look away from each other, and an awkward silence fills the room. To tell the truth, the video did make me feel weird, but I kind of liked it at the same time. I don't know though. Out of nowhere, Calum looks at me again, and a nervous grin spread across his face, and a playful look comes into his eyes.
"Wanna try it?"
