Erick came to pick me up on his way to school. "You didnt have to do this." I said to him as I fastened my seat belt. "I didnt have to, but I wanted to" he replied, starting the engine of his black, very fancy-looking car.
We entered the school yard. I exited the car and told him thanks for the ride. He said it wasnt a big deal. Girls were all over him not long after he got out. I couldnt help but feel a bit uncomfortable, so instead of walking to class with him, I told him I'd see him later. "Chelse wait!" He shouted after me, but I was already entering the school and didnt look back.
"I'm sorry about what happened this morning." Erick said on his way up to me. I was sitting on the same bench, just like the day he first spoke to me.
"It's no big deal. I was just a little uncomfortable, so I left."
"Yeah. These girls are just all over me like I'm food."
"Do they make you uncomfortable?"
"Yeah. They do. I mean they're girls and I like girls, but it's just too much."
"Why dont you tell them to back off then?"
"My friends."
"Your friends? What do they have to do with any of this?"
"They're gonna think I'm an amateur, and that I have been faking that I wasnt a virgin."
"Aren't you not?"
"Of course I am."
"Really!?" I was shocked. I thought these type of guys lost their virginity's when they were 15 or maybe even younger. "Are you sure?" I asked him, still surprised.
"Of course! I just dont wanna tell my pals anything."
"Jeez, okay."
"So what about you?"
"What about me?" I asked.
"Are you a virgin?"
"Yeah. I'm only 17 you know. I'm still young." I said, giving my most baby-ish smile.
"Awww, so cute!" He squealed. "I'm 5+15-2."
"Why you gotta make this hard?" I said, pouting out my lower lip and blinking my eyelids.
"Oh come on Chelse. You're a smart girl."
"You're 18 Rick. That equation wasnt so much of a equation."
"Yeah, but it was one." He stated in a sing-song voice.
Erick dropped me home from school. My mother and her boyfriend were there surprisingly.
"Who's that boy Chelsey." She asked standing in the doorway, after he left.
"Just a friend mother." I answered on my way in.
"Just a friend? He picked you up this morning."
"I know he did. He's still just a friend."
"You sure?" Her boyfriend thought he could just disturb my conversation with my mother. Who does he think he is anyway?
"Yes."
"Chelse, come lets talk for a bit." He opened his arms, as to welcome me.
Hell no. I was not going to talk to that man. "I'm busy. Tests and projects. Sorry." I went up to my room, slamming the door behind me.
Like I said. Some days I felt amazing and on top of the world, but other I felt like total shit and down in the dirt. Jezebel was talking to me again. 'You need this. You know you do.'
