****Present Day****
****Charlie****Charlie was twenty years old today and was to be wed this evening on her birthday. She hated it. Hated the feeling of being forced into something. Hated the feeling of being wed by someone she didn't even love.
She sighed as she looked at herself in the mirror. She was procrastinating, didn't even get into the bath her maid had started for her. She didn't even have her dress out of the closet, or the shoes she was supposed to wear. She hated this. Charlie had long golden locks and a porcelain face. She was tall in stature, but looked dainty and not clumsy like most would. Her eyes were big brown doe eyes, her lips full and red. Her nails were plain and short but when angry would easily sharpen, as well as her teeth that would sharpen into points.
She sighed and grabbed onto the blood bag sitting next to her and quickly finished it, and got into her bathtub. When the maid came in shortly after Charlie was already out and getting dried off.
"Ma'am, would you like me to get you into your dress?" The maid asked her.
Charlie nodded closing her eyes in disgust upon seeing the dress. The dress wasn't hideous or ugly. It was a black ball gown. Nothing about her wedding was going to be traditional it seemed like. The dress was floor length and black as midnight. The bodice was small with silver sparkles on it for decoration with some sparkles hiding in the rest of the fabric. The back of the dress was done up like a corset so someone needed to tie it. When Charlie moved the sparkles in the dress would catch the light and shine. All eyes were definitely going to be on her. Her shoes were black flats, she didn't want to look or seem much taller if she wore heels. She sat at her make up desk and closed her eyes as the maid went to work on her make up and hair. Her hair was down around her shoulders a clip holding her bangs together, her make up a light gray color making her eyes stand out. Her lips a dark red color.
"You look beautiful Charlie!" Exclaimed the maid with a smile and tears in her eyes.
"Thank you." Charlie replied sounding unhappy. The maid took no notice of course to her tone of voice because it wasn't about her own happiness, but for the good of the Lycan and Vampire clans.
She looked at herself in the mirror and sighed again she was ready for the wedding.
****Jesse****
Jesse was twenty-five, muscular, long dark brown hair that hit his chin that made his strong jaw look chiseled on. He was six feet and five inches tall with a scowl on his face. Nothing could make him happy today. Today was the vampire princess's birthday and their wedding day. He yanked on his clothes feeling foolish in this damn monkey suit. He came from absolutely nothing and hated acting as if he was something he wasn't.
The wedding was to take place at the cemetery where neutral territory was. This was gonna make history and he was part of it. Jesse was the soon to be alpha, shortly after the wedding he'd be the alpha. The position he didn't even want.
He looked at himself in the mirror his dark eyes and mouth in the shape of a scowl. Someone knocked on the door, he sighed. "Yea, come in." Jesse grumbled.
In walked Constantine this giant of a guy. He had to be over seven feet tall and muscular as hell. He could eat his weight in meat and human flesh when it was the time of the month to turn. He was Jesse's best friend and his second in command. Constantine whistled. "Wow you look nice." He complimented his alpha.
