****Jesse****
Going back into the room hours later I found Charlie sleeping on her side of the bed. She still had the black slip on and I quickly slid into bed not wanting to disturb her. I ran my fingers through her hair watching her sleep. She looked so peaceful and thinking of her peace I drifted off to sleep.
****Morning****
****Jesse****I woke up to the sun shining right into my face. I grumbled and threw my arm over my eyes. Once my eyes adjusted to the sun I looked and saw that Charlie was still sound asleep. Her skin was flawless in the morning sun. Legend said that vampires burned in the sun light but maybe that was just made vampires not born ones.
I sighed I needed to get dressed and start the day with the pack. As Alpha I had a job to do. I got up and went into the bathroom to go take a shower.
****Charlie****
I woke up to the sound of a door closing. I could smell Jesse's scent on the bed next to me and was happy to learn he slept there next to me, protecting me in the night. I opened the curtain to the window and winced a little at the sun.
Made vampires because they carry the virus are allergic to the sunlight. Only the really old and the ones that were born from the really old weren't allergic to it and could go into the day light. So in other word genes are better than being out right bitten. Made vampires have a hard time reproducing especially given how old the female vampire was when bitten. So if an adolescent female were to get bitten at the ripe age of fourteen she probably would have a difficult time making an offspring if she had a mate later in life.
I think back about last night and sigh. The whole point of the mating ceremony was so I could have pups by this morning. The likelihood of that happening especially with an Alpha Wolf would be almost immediate given he had to have offspring.
I grab a towel from our closet and walk into the bathroom. I close the door unaware that Jesse was in there. As soon as I turn around I smack into a wet body. I looked up into green eyes. Why can't his eyes just pick a color? I felt as if I kept getting whiplash expecting his eyes to be blue and then see they're a different color. I bite my lip and look down at his glistening chest and look lower still to see his member. It was huge and he wasn't even hard. I turn around fast and smile a little. "Um I'm sorry I didn't mean to do that. I umm didn't know you were in here." I blushed bright red biting my lip.
"Can you hand me that towel?" He asked I'm assuming the one in my hand which I handed over to him. I could hear him adjust the towel around his waist. "You can turn around now." He said and I slowly turned around. Jesse's chest was still glistening with water droplets and his hair was slicked back with water dripping down his back.
I made an effort to look back up into Jesse's face looking into those hunter green eyes. "Why do your eyes change color so much?" I asked out of curiosity.
He shrugged as he grabbed a comb from the sink and started combing his hair. The v-muscle where his hips jutted out and where the towel met we're very visible and I bit my lip again. I needed to get my head out of the gutter. "Alpha's eyes change based on mood." He said putting the comb back down on the sink. "When I'm in wolf form or when I'm mad or aggressive they turn yellow or black." He added getting his toothbrush ready to brush his teeth. Before he put the toothbrush into his mouth he looked at me in the mirror. "Why aren't you in a coffin? Or you know burning in the sunlight?" He asked.
