Chapter 1
Bucky's POV

I ran as fast as I could. I knew that the HYDRA agents would catch up sooner or later. I wanted to push it as far "later" as possible. I don't want to go back. I don't want to be the monster that they have built me to be, even if I don't have anywhere else to go and no memory of who I was before all of this. I knew what I had heard, but I refuse to go by what people say, I want to know for myself, the truth. I want to know the facts of what happened. I know that I could get answers eventually, but I need to get away from the HYDRA agents behind me, first.
I run faster, using all super human strength to make it to the other side of the small set of trees. I know I can lose them once I got to the giant roadway. Bullets flying past my head, and the sound of men shouting behind began to grow closer. I wasn't sure how they were catching up, until I heard the sound of a motor. They couldn't drive motorcycles, or cars through the trees, but I knew that HYDRA had a wonderful amount of technology to invent devices that allowed people to fly...some what.
"Get him! Come on, hurry!" The shouts grew louder and I feel my heart beating as fast as it can. I just wanted to be alone. Finally, I give up and decide to fight. I stop in my tracks and crouch down on the ground. I wait to pounce on the first unsuspecting agent. It wouldn't be too hard. I am trained to kill when I felt threatened, and now was one of those times. I wait for the right moment to bring down a few of them.
Right as they fly above me, I jump up and take down 5 HYDRA members. They come down with a thud and the other hundred or so, pause. They have their guns ready to kill. I'm not going down without a fight though. I take one of the fallen member's bodies and swing it and knock down a few more soldiers. Many began to back down and called for back up. The help would be here in no time so I fought harder and faster. I reach for one man and break his neck, then use his body to bring down others. I fought until I had nothing left and ran for the roadway ahead.
I ran and found myself in the middle of the giant, and fast roadway; moving just in time to not get hit by a car. I duck under the road and keep running. I move quickly and run as far down the road as I can, careful not to be seen by reinforcing HYDRA agents. I keep running until I find a small, dark alley and hide there. I knew I had to hide til night fall. People would turn me in if they saw my arm. So I decided to wait to find help.
