Cassie's POV

I have a nice hot shower and get ready for the morning ahead. Before I walk out the door, I can smell something warm and delicious in the air. I try to identify it but I can't. It make me hungry though, I can say that much. I open the door to the bathroom and walk into the main part of the place and the smell hits my face with such strength that I can barely contain myself.

"Bucky, what the heck is that smell?" I look up at him and find a small pile of food on the tiny table by the couch and the tv. I don't know what any of it is, but it smells so good that I can't even concentrate.

"Well, I thought it would be nice to make you something. I am not the best cook, but I tried." I cover my mouth with my hand and turn away half way. I don't know what to do, "Cassie, are you okay?" He comes over to me and waits for me to speak.

"Bucky, I am better than okay. This is the sweetest thing anyone could do for me." I turn around and wrap my arms around him, then I kiss him. I feel his arms wrap around me and he starts to kiss back. When we break away I can feel the tears of joy fall from my face. He smiles and wipes away the tears with his hand. He kisses me on my nose; then we go and sit on the couch and eat.

We go through the next couple of week with the same routine; wake up, training, park, dinner, sleep. Every so often Bucky will make breakfast or dinner. Natasha has become like a sister to me and I couldn't happier.

Bucky and I spend every evening together and each experience is better than the last. We have learned the modern world together and we watch the news channels to keep up with everything. I read history books and relearn all my elementary school basics and Bucky reads about the wars. Not surprisingly, he is most fascinated with World War II. We have been on mini missions here and there, but nothing major.

"Agent Romanov, Agent Alexander, I have an assignment for you." Nick Fury walks into the room and the air feels cold instantly. "You will travel to Russia with Agent Romanov and search out a series of strange threats towards America. Your flight leaves tonight if you accept."

I look at Nat and nod my head, "Thank you Director Fury. We accept your mission. What time should we be ready?"

"Be set to go by oh-twenty-one hundred.(9pm)" He walks out of the room and the air clears up.

"Wow, he really leaves an impression, doesn't he?"Natasha rolls her eyes to my comment. We both get up to leave for the mission. I make my way to the room I share with Bucky and share the news with him. He isn't pleased but he lets me go any way.

We go have dinner with the team and hang out before making our way to the helipad. Bucky and I hold hands till we get to the top and let go as I get in the helicopter. We share a quick kiss and then I'm off.

"Natasha, what exactly are we looking for?" This is my first overseas mission, I have no clue what I am supposed to be looking for.

"Anything suspicious really. I know it is a very vague mission but there isn't really much to go on. We just have to keep our eyes and ears open until we get a clue as to what we really need to look for." She kept the helicopter on course and we made it to our destination in Russia about 14 hours later. We checked into our hotel, a very small and dirty place, but easy to use as a cover.

We go through the usual routines, check out the places surrounding us, then remind ourselves of our cover names and stories. My cover story; I am a girl named Chelsea Bates, I am twenty-four years old and I am just here on a simple vacation with my sister, Heather. Natasha and I chose to act dumber than we seem and over the next week use our oblivion to gain access to much information.
