Jessica's POV
Date: 11/22/15
Location: 10 miles south-west of Fort Worth, Texas.
Weather: 36 degrees fahrenheit, still snowy from the night before, slightly windy, and partly sunny.
Time: 9:47 A.M.
Today is the day I make my move. I have already packed clothes for two nights. Hopefully someone will let me stay at their house, after all, I do live in my (soon to be ex) boyfriends house.
I have two long sleeve shirts on, and a sweatshirt. I also have thermal pants on underneath my blue jeans, along with with 2 pairs of knee socks on.
I go outside and put on my 37 degree boots. I grab my horse's, Moon's, halter. I walk about 20 feet to where Moon's stall is. He has already been fed and is ready to hit the road.
I put the halter on him and lead him to where the tack shed is. He just stands there, not tied to the post, while I throw the saddle blanket and saddle on him. I tighten the cinch, back cinch, and breast collar on him. I throw my bag of clothes behind the saddle, then tie them to the saddle. I grab the bridle which is conveniently on the pole next me. Slipping off the halter, I replace it with my leather bridle. I slip the bit into his mouth, pulling the straps over his ears, and adjust the chin strap. After that, I grab my hat, and sunglasses, and put them on.
