Jessica's POV

Date: 12/22/15

Location: The Clinton Anderson Ranch

Time: 5:30 P.M.

I begin to walk closer to house, not wanting to walk in, and face her.

This has always happened to me. I start to develop a crush on a really awesome guy who is a good friend, then they start dating someone else.

This is why I don't like boys.

As I approach the door I pull out the keys Clinton had given me and slowly, but quietly, open the door avoiding the talk I will have with them.

My eyes are already red and puffy, and teary. I breath in quickly with my nose, preventing any liquid from coming out of it.

I slide the key in the slot of the door handle, I miss it several times because of my teary, blurry vision. I turn it to the right to unlock it. I bring it slightly to the right to be able to pull it out.

I open the door, but unfortunately it squeaks as I slowly the push it inward.

"Jess?" I hear Clinton's voice coming from the kitchen.

"Shit." I whisper under my breath. "Yes?" I try to act as if I weren't crying.

"Hey." He says as I turn my back to him quickly to avoid the tension, as I shut the door.

"Hi." I say in the most cheerful voice I could, which didn't sounds very cheerful. My final option is to put my hair in front of my face and turn to him, so I did

"You okay?" He says bending his body to try and see my face but I turn away.

"Yeah, I-I'm fine." I say with a fake laugh at the end.

"Okay?" He questions my actions but goes along with it.

"I'll be back." I say and walk to my room.

As soon as I get to my room, I close the door, and I begin to cry more, about things that normally wouldn't have been a problem.

I pull down a suitcase I found in the closet. I start packing my cloths, and accessories. Every time one little thing wouldn't go right, I'd get pissed off even more, and cry more.

How does my body produce so many tears? It's acts as if it's been saving tears for a specific day, then it let's it all go.

"Jess?" I hear Clinton's voice followed with a knock at the door.

"Yeah?" I begin to wipe as much of my tears away as I possible could before he would come in.

"What's wrong?" He says in his adorable Australian accent that I'm sure every girl falls in love with. Especially his new girlfriend.

"Nothing!" I say grabbing more of my belongings and, now, throwing them into the suit case as he opens the door.

"Jess!" He says fairly loud, but I don't stop grabbing things.

"Jess!" He yells, louder than before, but time he grabs my arms preventing me from moving. I didn't know how strong he was until this moment, even when I tried to fight, he didn't move.

"Stop!" I yell. My instinct is fall to ground, so I do.

"What is up with you?" He asks kneeling down beside me.

"I'm leaving." I say putting my face into my hands.

"You're what?"

"I'm leaving." I pause looking at him in the eyes. "I found an apartment and a job available."
