Chapter 27

I sat in the car with Dean waiting for sam to come back out and he told us that the girl had showed signs of demonic possession. Dean said we were going back to one of our old schools and i sighed leaning back against the seat and closing my eyes." Something wrong Mari?"

" no, nothing" I mumbled looking out the window

Flashback (Third Person POV)

Mari climbed out of the car with her brothers, a shoulder bag on one shoulder. She was dressed in glasses, an ankle length skirt, a dark green turtleneck sweater. Her hair hung at her shoulders and a yellow headband held her hair out of her face. " bye dad" she said with a wisp because of the braces on her teeth. She followed her brothers into the school and stood next to Sam as they were introduced to the class." Class, I would like you to say hello to Sam and Mary Winchester"

"Hello Sam, Hello Mary" every greeted and Mari glared through her glasses.

" is there anything you'd like to tell us about yourself"

" not really" Sam told him and Mari gripped her backpack strap as she mumbled" It's Mari, not Mary" She told him but was ignored as they were told to take a seat. Mari sat behind Sam and frowned when the kid next to her started flicking the guy the kid in front of him in the ear. Sam challenged him but Mari stayed out of it, not drawing attention to herself as she pulled out a notebook and started to write.

Present day (Mari's POV)

I followed Sam down the hall with a clipboard, dressed in the stupid monkey suit again. We talked to Dean, who was pretending to be a sub coach before going to check out the hallways. We heard screaming and ran to find a kid on the floor, who had just shoved someone's had in a blender. Sam told me about the black stuff in the kids ear and started checking the hallway again. We met up with Dean who told us about a kid who had died in the very bathroom, someone had been swirled to death in. A kid named Barry and i sighed smiling" he was good kid" I mumbled and Sam nodded.

Flashback

Mari was walking down the hallway but looked over just as Barry got his books and stuff knocked out of his hand. She went over to him with Sam and helped him pick up the books before giving them to Barry. They started walking, passing Dean along the way before the bully appeared. Barry went to get a teacher before the bully hit Sam in the face." Leave him alone" Mari cried and the bully smirked" what are you going to do about it, write me a note". She glared at him but said nothing." that's what I thought". The bully went after her brother again, just as a teacher appeared. The bully walked off and she helped her brother up.

Present time

I sighed as we burned Barry's remains before leaving but on the way out Sam was quite and I knew why. Sam wanted to go back to talk to one of our old teachers and I smiled." say hi to him for me" I called out and he nodded. When he came back he told us that the ghost was still here, so we checked out one of the buses and found a drivers permit, belonging to our bully's father. We went to talk to him and found out that his mother had died but the father had kept a lock of the kid's hair. We went after the possessed bus driver but Sam shot him and he just possessed someone else. Dean found the hair and burned it getting rid of Dirk, once and for all. Sam talked to our old teacher, we finally put that town behind us.

" You know, I never really liked that school" I told them

" what do mean, we were awesome, Mari" Sam laughed and I crossed my arms" not all of us, Dean was the popular kid until he cheated on his girlfriend. You were bullied until you fought back but me...I wasn't really noticed, you now"

" What do you mean, you were with me and Barry all the time"

" yeah but, I never talked remember, I stood up for Sam but that was it. I was the unnoticed Winchester, which is rare for our family" I laughed and Sam smiled.

" Well, I'm glad it's over" Dean smiled and I nodded.

I walked into the cemetery just in time to see Dean go flying into a headstone. I looked over to see a guy trying to the same to Sam but it had no effect. Sam smiled and waved his hand, impaling him in a tree. I raised my hand and black smoke flew from his mouth. Sam looked over at me and I sighed" What would you do without me?" I asked. We helped Dean back to their motel and Sam went to do research, while I got Dean an ice pack. When he came back, he told us that they had found a seal. They called in Pamela and I sighed" wish I could help guys" I told them closing the curtains" but ever since we killed yellow eyes, I haven't been able to see any dead people, so good luck" I told them just before Pamela sent them to the spirit world.

I looked around and smiled seeing them sitting up, while their bodies stayed in place." guess I'm still Melinda Gordan over here" I joked and Pamela smiled before telling Sam the words. They left and I sighed sitting down. A few hours later, we heard something outside and Pamela locked the door. Something hit me over the head and everything went black. The next thing I knew I was on the floor  with Sam shaking my shoulder. I looked over to see Pamela on the bed dead and Dean sitting up." A demon attacked her" Sam told me and I got up." She never asked for this" I said shaking my head before I left the motel, slamming the door behind me.
