Harry's P.O.V.

I watch quietly as my mum pulls Scarlet away from me to embrace her, in a loving motherly way. It breaks my heart as Scarlet's body rakes in sobs, crying into my mum's shoulder. It surprised the hell out of me when Scarlet said my mum's name, you could tell it was purely muscle memory. The way it just flowed almost made me envious because she remembered my mum's name but not mine. It was a selfish thought that was easily cast away when that was just another reminder that she was remembering. Maybe once she sees Darcy she'll remember more. As I was just about to ask mum where Darcy was, I hear it. A ear piercing screech of distress coming from down the hall. Before I even have a chance to stand, Scarlet is already down the hall. Her motherly instincts to comfort her child taking over any type of hesitation away. I stand up to go see if she needs help.

A hand catches my wrist, "Let her find her way back to her daughter," I look down to see my mother looking up at me with a small smile. I nod and sit back down next to my mum. I few minutes pass, my mum tells me that she already gave medicine for she small fever and Darcy's crying has ceased completely. I look at my mum before getting up again but this time my mum doesn't stop me. I step quietly down the hall before leaning onto the open door way, listening to Scarlet sing our song to our daughter. Once she finishes the song and Darcy is calmed, I make my way into the room.

"You're okay, ladybug. Mommy's right here," She whispers, rocking Darcy slowly before kissing her small forehead. I haven't heard Darcy been called ladybug in three months. You'd think she's missed no time away from her daughter.

I slowly wrap my arms around her tiny waist, "And you thought you were a bad mum."

She placed Darcy back down into the pack and play, spinning the mobile gently to catch Darcy's attention before turning around in my arms. She placed her hands on my chest before kissing across my collar bone gently, earning a low groan to escape from the back of my throat. She pulled back far too quickly, looking up at me with embarrassment covering her cheeks as she blushes.

"Sorry, I..I don't know why I did that... habit I guess." She said looking down as if she was waiting to be scolded.

I chuckled quietly, bringing my lips to the shell of her ear,"Yes, love. I habit you do all the time, that drives me absolutely mad."

I watch as a visible goosebumps cover her skin. I love the way her body still reacts to me. She lightly whacks my chest before pulling away, shaking her head at me, smirking. Darcy coos sound from behind Scarlet causing her to turn around with a wide grin splitting across her face.  She leans over the pack and play once more to collect our daughter. She returns to her upright position, placing Darcy on her hip. She turns to me while still looking at our six month old daughter with the most loving smile on her face before directing her focus on me.

"What?" She gently asks, giggling. I just realized I've been staring at her with a goofy grin covering my face.

"I'm just really happy, love."

I watch as Darcy studies her mother's face thoughtfully. She begins to touch over Scarlet's hair, moving to her neck and deciding on finishing off with her face. She lightly squeals before rubbing her face into Scarlet's chest, putting her ear to Scarlet's chest to listen to her mummy's heartbeat. Darcy closed her eyes, nuzzling her face into Scarlet's chest once more as a delicate smile covers face.

"I was really scared she wasn't going to remember me," Scarlet admits looking down at the small baby in her arms.

"No, she remembers. She's the only one who knows what your heartbeat sounds like from the inside, she'll never forget that sound." I answer truthfully.  Scarlet looks up at me smiling.

"Come on, it's time we go home," I reach for her, softly pulling her to me before kissing her temple. She lightly giggles shaking her head before grabbing my jaw in her small hand, pulling my lips to hers. She released her hold on my face when Darcy tried to push her small hand between our lips, causing us to laugh.

"Were we not giving you enough attention, ladybug?"  I chuckled quietly at her, kissing all over her small face.  Darcy reached for me with her small hands making the grabbing motion. I looked up at Scarlet asking for permission, knowing this is her first time seeing her daughter in three months. She smiles knowingly before nodding and handing her over to me. Disappointment hinted in her eyes as Darcy wanted me at this moment, instead of staying with her.

As soon she's secure in my arms, she scans over my face with her innocent blue eyes; given to her my her mother. She takes the same actions with my face as she did Scar. Carefully touching over my curls to my neck and lastly to my face before happily gurgling, smashing her face into the crook of my neck. She pulls her head back to look at me again, leaving a spit trail behind.

"Was that entirely necessary, young lady?" I playfully scolded her, wiping my neck and her mouth off with a burp cloth lying on the shelf.

As soon as we came, we left my mum's house. Darcy was asleep in her car seat as we drove home in comfortable silence.

"I feel like I should be having a mental break down at any second...because in my head this is new." Scarlet quietly admits. I feel slightly panicked before she starts speaking again, "But my heart and my body...it's nothing new. Like I've never missed anytime...away from you or her."

I glance over at her and she's looking back at Darcy before looking over at me with a small smile gracing her features.  I take my focus back on the road, driving with one hand as I hold Scarlet's with the other.  She places her other hand over our intertwined ones before rubbing her hand up and down my forearm. It's true, what she said about her body remembering what her mind doesn't. Her body remembers kissing my collar bone, wanting to soothe her daughter's distress, and just now with her hand motions on my arm. She always did that while we drove. She's still my best friend. She's still my wife. Her head memories are still blank but her heart is still mine, even if she doesn't have the memories to back it up.

"You were singing to Darcy," I stated.

"I was." Her voice sounded taken back, obviously not expecting me to bring that up.

"Do you know what you were singing?" I took a glance at her.

"I couldn't tell you the name or who it's by, so no," She looked at me with a sad smile.

I reach over to the radio, pulling my hand out of hers and turned on the CD in the player, letting the music play softly before settling in my hand back with hers. (Hazy by

We pulled to a stop light where I have a full advantage to look at her, with her eyes closed and her quiet voice shining through clearly. As the song ended, her blue eyes found mine in embarrassment.

"God I've missed you." I say as I pull up to the house.
