Chapter 13: Perfect angels.

Stella's POV: 

I woke up the next morning and mike was still sleeping, I slid out of the bunk and went to the couch, I sat down and stared out of the window. 

"Stella...?" I heard a voice coming from the bunk area. I looked over and it was Jaime. 

"Oh, hey Jaime" I said and he sat down next to me. 

"Why are you out here?" He asked me, normally Jaime slept in, I wondered why he was up now. 

"Just thinking...." I responded. He looked at me and I bet he knew what was wrong. 

"about what? Your parents?" He asked me and I was surprised that he asked that without treating it as a fragile thing. 

"Yeah, The fact that they found us and attacked Mike, We put you guys in danger." I said looking down, he lifted my chin up and looked at me.

"Stella, no. You didn't put us in danger, Mike and Tony took you guys in. They shouldn't have left you in that alley bruised and broken." Jaime said

I looked away and smiled "Your right, but I don't want you guys hurt, ever" I said. He smiled and hugged me. "We won't get hurt. Have faith in us" He said. 

He got up and I saw Mike getting out of his bunk. Jaime turned and walked towards him. He crawled back into his bunk, and now it was just me and Mike. Mike sat next to me and wrapped his arms around me.

"I heard you and Jaime talking" He said "There is no way any of what your parents did is your fault nor will it hurt us. we are strong guys my love" He finished.

"I guess you are right" I said to him and smiled.

"Good, now borrow some of my clothes and get ready, we're going shopping," He kissed my forehead.

I went to the back and pulled out one of his shirts and a pair of Vic's jeans. I knew he wouldnt have minded, it was only for the day. I walked out and the others were finally out there. They looked at me and smiled.

Mike's POV

We were all ready to go and I grabbed her hand. We walked off the bus and started walking towards the mall, When we got there, Stella and Luna skipped towards a store, we just followed them. Stella had clothes picked out rigt away. They tried clothes on and I thought she was gorgeous in anything. 

Luna and Stella came out in dresses and asked if they looked good in them. 

"Like perfect angels" Tony and I answered at the same time. Vic and Jaime died laughing.

Finally we were done and we were walking back to the bus. I spotted their parents, they turned to us  and they looked dead at stella, I stepped in front of her and Tony grabbed Luna. 

"Guys, what's happening?" Stella asked popping up from behind me. she stopped  and stared at them, I pulled her back and we continued walking fast. I was scared of this, they would find us again. We needed to leave this city, we needed to make sure they were safe. I didn't want to lose her like I almost did twice. 

We got back to the bus and we opened the doors quickly, We got on and I saw her parents pass by and I knew we were safe now. I turned to the bus driver and nodded, he pulled off and we were off to the next city. I hated that we had to leave in the middle of our day off but I had to keep Stella safe, Tony wanted to keep Luna safe too and this was our only way to do that. I wasgoing to keep her safe even if that means messing up the shows and missing a lot of sleep.
