Chapter 14: Finally able to sleep

Mike's POV: 

We sat quietly in the front area of the bus. Tony had a tight grip on Luna and Stella was leaned against my shoulder. I refuse to let her go out alone, I won't let her leave my sight. Not until I know thier safe.

Finally Jaime broke the silence.

"Guys, come on. They'll be safe with us. Remember? We promised them." 

Stella picked her head up and smiled "Thanks Jaime, But risking your liv-" She was interrupted by Vic

"No, Stella, You are my brother's girlfriend. Luna, you are Tony's. We stick together. It's what we build our band on. Our fans are our family. Without them we would be nothing. Same with you guys. With you, Tony and Mike would be quiet and shy all the time." Vic went on.

I knew he was right. I knew that without Stella, I would probably be sitting alone by myself. My last girlfriend screwed me over. I put everything I had into that relationship and she completely destroyed my heart. 

Stella looked up at me and kissed my check taking me out of my thoughts.

"Mike, it's fine. We need to forget about it and sleep before the next venue." 

"Won't do any good" I heard tony say.

"Why?" Stella asked. I knew what was going to happen. he was gonna tell her my biggest fear. 

"Once someone he loves is in danger, he won't sleep. He will stay up with you just to make sure no one bothers you." Tony finished.

Stella looked up at me and smiled. "Mike, please sleep, i'll sleep next to the wall, that way no one can touch me, you need sleep." She said to me.

I stared at her for the longest time, I nodded in agreement because I could never take those puppy dog eyes. 

Luna's POV: 

I leaned up as Mike and Stella walked back to their bunk, She got in first and mike got in, he left the curtain open and I saw him instantly put his arm around stella. 

I looked at the other guys 

"Vic, what happend to mike's ex?" 

"Don't Worry about it!" Vic shouted at me and walked back to his bunk.

I looked at Jaime. 

"She um, cheated on Mike. Vic is still upset about it, because Mike hit a low after that, he never played his hardest anymore. She broke him. Stella came in and Vic saw his brother's eyes light up. That's all" He finished for Vic.

Tony kissed my head and picked up the 360 controller.  I took the controller from his hands 

"what game are we playing?!" I yelled. 

"Left 4 dead?" Tony said to me. 

"Let's Play!" I yelled. 

"Dammit, shut the hell up!" Mike yelled and jerked his curtain closed. 

"Sorry!" I whispered. Jaime was on the ground laughing. 

"What is it moron?" I said throwing tony's hat at him. 

"Hey!" He said and nudged me onto the floor then taking the controller back. I fell on jaime and we laughed. 

We played video games, At point Vic came back out and played a little with us. For the first time he was actually laughing and having a good time with us. 

Mike and Stella were still sleeping. I walked by to get something and I looked, Mike's big figured was around Stella's small frame, to me it was cute. I'm sure Tony and I sleep the same way.

A few hours later we were all tired. Tony Leaned back and I laid down on his lap. Jaime fell asleep on the floor and Vic went back to his bunk. He threw an animal at me. 

"got this for you, Luna." He said. 

I picked it up and it was my favorite animal "A Snow Fox?" I said looking back, he was already in his bunk. 

'How did he know...." I thought to myself. I shrugged it off, Tony was already snoring and Jaime was curled into a ball. "Goodnight my little squirrel and my lovely turtle, sleep tight." 

"I love you" Tony mumbled to me. I froze up and mumbled "I love you too" back to him. I placed my hand on his chest and closed my eyes. I felt him move his hand to my hair and softly start petting my hair. I soon feel asleep.
