A/N: The lovely Courtney is currently separated from internet access (pray for her soul), so I’m just a friend filling in for an update so y’all don’t die of suspense. Basically, if there are tons of errors/ this sucks you can blame me, not her. Courtney will be back soon!
Stella’s POV
The rest of the ride to the venue was tense and more than a little awkward. Mike was still pointedly ignoring Vic, and even though I wished they would talk it out, I still felt too guilty to really say anything. Vic had kissed me, but still.
Jaime tried to lighten the mood by being extra-jokey and messing around even more than usual, which Vic and Mike barely noticed anyways. They were both wrapped up in their own heads. Mike stroked my hair absentmindedly but his arm was around me and he was being more possessive than usual.
For something to do more than anything else, I walked over to Tony’s bunk and poked Luna.
“Luna? Luuuuunnnnaa!” I teased her as she rolled over and groaned a little bit, rubbing her eyes.
“I think I hate you a little bit.” She mumbled.
“shush, you know you love me!” I grinned back.
She gave me a look that said “I’m doubting that right now” and slid out of bed.
“What’s going on?” She whispered to me.
“Mike still isn’t talking to Vic.” I informed her.
We walked back to the front lounge and she inhaled a little bit at the sight of Mike purposefully ignoring Vic and Jaime trying desperately to relieve the tension. Tony was staying out of it and scrolling through his phone.
“Oh.”
Luna’s POV
Fuck fuck fuuuuck. I wanted out of this bus now. The awkwardness in the room was so strong I could nearly taste it, and the air was way too quiet in a way that indicated someone must have been shouting not too long ago. That Jesus I slept through THAT. Ugh, I hate yelling. And fighting too, actually. But Mike and Vic were acting like children about this. They barely nodded a hello to me they were both so busy pouting. Boys could be such babies. At least Jaime seemed like he was in a good mood. I shot a desperate glance at Tony who smiled and patted the space next to him, saying “goodmorning, sunshine” but clearly making no move to get involved in this awkward shitstorm.
Well, no way I was gonna spend another 8 hours on the bus like this. I ignored Tony and winced inwardly, I was gonna kill MIke for making me do this.
“Alright guys,” I said, hoping to project a firmness I entirely lacked, “everybody sit down at the breakfast nook. We’re talking about this.”
Five shocked faces blinked back at me, Mike looking vaguely annoyed, Vic hopeful, but I could practically see the question marks on everyone else’s face. OK so I was a shy little fuck, but *someone* had to say something. And while I was hoping Tony would have, he didn’t so now it was up to me.
“Luna, this isn’t your problem, don’t get involved.” Mike said stiffly.
“Like Hell it isn’t. You are dating my big sis and making this whole bus hella awkward by not talking to Vic about what happened. So yeah, you made this my problem by acting like a baby. Now everybody sit down at the damn table and start talking!”
My heart was pounding and I was praying my face hadn’t turned as red as it felt. I reeaally hated conflict. “please just do it” I thought to myself. I was relieved when Tony shuffled over, and pulled me into the booth next to him, and soon the rest of the guys followed, Mike never letting go of Stella.
