Chapter 9

Katherine's POV

I woke up with my head pounding and I started whining. I opened my eyes to see a very unfamiliar room. It was black, white and grey coloured including the furniture! 'Wow someone lives so... deadly over here. Kate, are you serious? You have been kidnapped and you are thinking about someone's likes?' With that everything that happened yesterday came flooding in my mind causing me to literally jump from bed. I looked around the room to see three doors. One of them is made of wood and the other two are sliding door. Meaning the wooden one is for the room. I went to open it only to find it locked.

Not surprised at all! I mean? A kidnapper will let the door unlocked for you to run away? No chance. I looked for a window. Fortunately I found one. I opened it to see that I am on the third floor. No way am I jumping from here! I will break my bones!

Just when I turned around to go to the bathroom, the door of the room clicked open! And enters who? My darling kidnapper! Not at all! Well he was very handsome and hot but he also kidnapped me! Had he not do that I would totally date him!

He smirked at me and told me "Slept well sweetheart?" I swear I wanted to beat the crap out of him and removed that bloody smirk out of his face... 'But it looks very sexy' 'Oh just shut up mind!'

I gave him a death glare and yelled "You! Who do you think you are just kidnapping me and my friend like that! Speaking of my friend, Where is she? I SWEAR IF YOU OR YOUR DAMN FRIEND LAY A SINGLE FINGER ON HER, I WILL KILL BOTH OF YOU! NOW YOU BETTER ANSWER ME!!!"

I was now breathing heavily tired of screaming like that while he was watching me amused. He chuckled and answered me "First question answer! My name is Derek Black. I'm the Alpha of this pack more precisely the Silver Night Pack. Second question answer! Your friend is just fine. She's with her mate and my Beta, Jackson. Thirdly it was no question but I'll answer that too, we are not going to hurt you both because you girls are our mates!"

I looked at him as if he had grown 10 heads. He raised an eyebrow and asked me "Aww baby! Why are you looking at me like that! I'm feeling so shy that I want to go and hide my face somewhere! Come on don't embarrass me?" I rolled my eyes and told him "Then go and hide! Why you ask! But first answer my questions! What's an Alpha? What's a pack? What's a Beta? And what's a mate?

He answered me becoming suddenly very serious. "An Alpha is the leader of a pack. He makes all the decisions of a pack. He is the Head like I am. An Alpha needs a Luna which you are. A Luna is the Alpha's mate. She is more like an Alpha but a female. She rules alongside the Alpha. A pack is like a society of people. But we are more like a big family. Like in this pack there are at least 450 people. A Beta is the second in command. I'm the Alpha so I'm first and he's the second. A Gamma is the third in command. You are yet to meet him though.

And a mate is like a soul mate. We know when someone's our mate when we smell her/his scent. Like yours smell like coconut and honey! Hmm... So good!

We know also when we make eye contact with them for the first time. And also when you touch them. Tingles erupt. That's how we know who our mates is."

I took a deep breath and thought that mom never told me that we humans we have mates. "Uhmm... One last thing? My mom never told me that we humans have mates?"

He looked shocked for a minute then he covered it and told me " A pack consists of werewolves. And I'm a werewolf...

Ufff... I'm so tired writing this chapter. It was very long? I know :)
