Katherine's POV

"Look up." I closed my eyes tightly but then the voice boomed in the court making me following the orders "I SAID LOOK UP!" I looked up and to my horror I saw... Blake?

"Blake?" I whispered with a hoarse voice. I looked into his eyes and saw love and care? But he quickly changed those emotions into a cold look and hatred and disgust.

"Blake! What the hell man! Why are you king? That too a vampire king? Wait a minute... Vampire? Blake you are a vampire?" He slammed his fist on my head and boomed "I AM KING! YOU MUST RESPECT ME! DON'T CALL ME BY MY NAME! CALL ME YOUR MAJESTY OR YOUR HIGHNESS!"

I flinched and looked down due to embarrassment, sadness and disgust as tears kept running on my face. "Guards! Take her to my room!" Wait a minute-why to his room?

Will he lock me up? Will he hit me? Will he... rape? No no no don't even think of it Kate! Calm down calm down. I took a deep breath as two guards came and took me away from there and led me to his room. After many stairs and turns we finally arrived to two big doors like gates.

Then pushed it open and pushed me inside then closed the door locking me up. First thought was correct. 'Will he lock me up' –done!

I then took a look at the room. I was totally speechless with me opening and closing my mouth like a fish in need of water. The room was bigger than mine well mine and Derek's.

Derek! How is he? Is he fine? Or is he hurt or even...dead? No can't be! I certainly hate speaking about death. Thinking of him being hurt in any way adds more tears in my eyes and I start balling my eyes out.

I kept crying and crying. The doors opened slowly but I did not stop crying. Then I felt two arms wrapping me into a hug. I look up and saw Blake. Anger flowed through me and I did the most stupid thing ever.

I slapped him hard across the face. "Why you son of a b'tch? Why'd you do that? HUH? YOU SEPERATED ME FROM MY MATE! WHY?" "Because I love you. And you are only mine. I'm your mate! Not him. What does he have that mutt? I'm more powerful more rich. I can give you much more happiness than him."

There was an eerie silence then I started laughing literally. "You? My mate? And how is that? I don't feel electricity or sparks dude so you better stop it ok? Since college time I'm rejecting you. So you better stop trying because my answer is the same NO!"

Yup I know that bast'rd since college time. And the most worst is that he was once my best friend. But then one day he tried to get me in the Janitor's closet for *cough cough* I guess you understood it.

Then I started avoiding him and ignoring him everytime he would want to mend for it. He used to apologize and try to be friends with me again. But I didn't want that to happen again so I didn't take a risk.

Then he started sending me flowers and told me to give him a last chance. I did give him but he blew it by sleeping with my other best friend, Elena. I warned him to stay away from me. I didn't see him for three years till now.

He started laughing evilly and marched towards me. I backed away while he kept coming towards me. I collided with something and I fell on something fluffy. Shit! In this very big room I had to fall on the bed?

"I know you love me as much I do sweetheart. You do!" He pinned me under him and started kissing my neck. He held my hands with his one hand and touched me everywhere with the other hand.

Bloody Perv'rt as he is! An idea rushed to my head. I started fake moaning and he took that as a cue to leave my hands. Wow what an idiot! I slowly made my hand go towards the lamp which stood on the night stand and took it. I fake moaned a last time and slapped him with it so hard that he fell and collided with the bathroom door and fell unconscious.

I made a run to the window opposite the room. I thought vampires turn to ashes in the presence of sun. Well maybe in fairy tales. I opened the window and saw that it was too dangerous to jump.

'Kate. Baby. You there?' I recognize that voice to of Derek's but how does he... Oh yes he marked me that means mind link. Oh shit I forgot that. 'Derek. Can u hear me? Please take me away from here!' 'Baby calm down! Just send me pictures of where you are!' 'huh? How do I do that?' 'just think a bit hard about the what you see.' I sent him pictures of the palace and the room and I heard him cussing. 'Baby I'm coming for you. Okay? Don't worry about anything' 'Yeah Derek. But please fast! I knocked him out cold. I don't know when he will wake up.' 'Yeah baby girl! I'm coming for you! Soon we'll see each other!'
