Cierra just told me that she didn't want to be friends with me anymore. I feel like she punched me in the gut. I've been waiting to see her for almost two years, and then she tells me I'm not worth her risking getting yelled at.
Whatever. I guess she was never worth it. She always gets into trouble, and expects me to get her out. She can't take me for granted like that.
I stomped as loud as I could up the steps and kicked the front door open. She was just so infuriating!
I stormed in the house and just plopped on the couch. First time I've been able to do that if several years, so I might as well start binge watching netflix.
I had just logged onto netflix, and was about to start watching, I heard the doorbell. Please let it not be Cierra! I've had enough of her for a day.
"Cade! You get it!" I screamed upstairs. I hear him running quickly down the stairs.
"You're closer!" He was already walking to the door, but still thought he could win a fight.
"Well you're already there!" I yell back.
I turn around while hearing the creaking of our old wooden door open.
"Hey!"
"Hey. Vivian here?" I recognized that voice.
"Yeah, she's on the couch." That was my cue. I turned around and walked to the door. Hoping that I looked okay.
"Hey Liam, what's up?"
"I'm just gonna go upstairs." I turned my head. Code was already walking upstairs when he said that. Hes awesome. He always knows when to do things.
"So I heard you just got out earlier today." I turned my head.
"Yeah, finally. I hated everything about that place. From the food to the jumpsuits." I signed. Just remembering it was a nightmare.
"I bet you looked hot in it." Liam was always trying to cheer me up.
"Oh yeah. With my hair unbrushed and no makeup on I looked awesome," i said sarcastically.
"Wanna get outta here, do something fun?"
"Yes!" My voice was overenthusiastic. "I've been locked up for over a year, we're doing something fun!" I grabbed his hand and we ran out the door.
He leads me to his car, a red convertible that he probably got earlier that year. Being a year older than me, he could drive. I opened the door, sat down, and turned on the radio.
"So where we goin'?"
"There's a party at Mike's."
I hesitated. I was on probation. I couldn't drink, or get high. I'd be sent back. But I didn't have to do any of those things.
"Let's go." I smiled, but hoped that he couldn't see through to my worry. He didn't. He never did.
"So how's juvie?"
"What do you think? I was in there for a year and a half for doing nothing. Stupid Miles. He's such a jerk. I wouldn't have gone there if he hadn't locked me in there."
"Miles, seriously, you're still telling yourself that?"
"What do you mean?" What was he saying? He believes me, right? At least I thought that.
"I know that you did it. I'm fine with it. You don't have to lie to make me like you. I like you as the bad girl type."
"What?" What was he saying? He didn't believe me? "I was locked and framed!"
